since dj is goning to let this die...i want to directly challenge you
Go on, I dare you to prove that basketball isn't better than hockey!
Its just impossible. Basketball takes so much more skill and grace. Hockey players just stumble around and punch each other. Its **** pathetic.
im guessing youve never skated before, or played hockey for that matter. it is much harder to skate keep your head up while stickhandling and pay attention to where your teammates and defenders are than drippling a ball and shooting
There is a reason that basketball is more popular! ist just better and cooler period. Do you see rappers wearing hockey jersees????? Hallna! Thas coz they recognize!
next to you rappers are the most ignorant people on the face of the earth...you are dead wrong in this classic video your boy snoop is rocking a hockey jersey..granted it is a shittsburg jersey it is a hockey jersey

i love basketball and hockey.. both equally entertaining.. but i must say.. its easier to skate with speed and balance when your holding a stick.. and to hold your head up at the same time? i think its easier to do anything while your looking up and aware of things around you.. and its just like any fast paced sport.. no more challenging to locate team mates and keep up to pace in hockey than in any other sport.. that's the point of jerseys.. to locate team mates and keep up with them... and it dosn't say anything if someone wears a certain sport attire.. how many people wears yankees hats? and how many of them are actually true baseball fans..?

this was directed at some tool that i took his arguement and went with it but this can be fun too...
its easier to skate with speed and balance when your holding a stick
have you played hockey...if you need it for balance your f'd..good luck dodging a hit or slap shot if your worried about your balance
i think its easier to do anything while your looking up and aware of things around you
your natural reaction is to look at what your doing and watching the puck, just like dribbling but with stick handling..the only differance if you have your head down to dribble maybe someone will steal the ball from you..do the same in hockey and your eating food through a straw
that's the point of jerseys
thanks for pointing that out for me...i always thought it was a way for owners to make more money

i have played hockey before.. im not saying im worried about my balance.. but im sure balance is key to being a good skater.. and having a stick just makes it easier for you to balance whether your great or just awful.. and whether you look down or up when you dribble or while stick handling.. your extremely ignorant to the fact that basketball is EXTREMELY difficult.. im not saying hockey isnt hard because it is very hard but basketball? always have and always will think it's the most difficult sport to master.. do hockey players need to perfect balance and speed while playing at a fast pace? of course they do.. but so do basketball players.. and precision? your damn right you need that to play hockey.. as does basketball. but defying gravity? being able to play great defense without being able to pummel someone over as hard as you can? all basketball right there.. and you know it's bad when a certain sport (hockey) admits that it NEEDS another sport (fighting) to help it's dwindling popularity.. basketball only needs itself to pack arenas..

your extremely ignorant to the fact that basketball is EXTREMELY difficult
not if your over 6'7 with any sort of athletic abilities....really not that hard
im not saying hockey isnt hard because it is very hard but basketball? always have and always will think it's the most difficult sport to master
thank you..you have proven your right...it is not just as hard as hitting a pitcher that has a 100mph fastball and a 85mph breaking ball with the same arm speed that starts out at your face then drops in as a strike, or trying to hold on to catch over the middle with a pair of linebackers trying to take your head off...maybe its almost as hard as trying to fight a trained martial arts fighter who can not only knock you out but wants to rip a limb off and wont stop until you tap out...just saying basketball may be a tough game but not even close to the "most difficult sport
thank you charlie

basketball is more difficult skill-wise yes.. and the fact that it is a very low-contact sport makes it even more difficult to perfect basketball skills.. i'm not arguing which sport is more tough. it's what sport takes more skill.. basketball is all about skill.. there's nothing else to it but pure skill
