Knowshon Moreno. He may not be that fast, but he's not afraid to stick his head down and plow through the defense. Moreno has had 89 yrds/game this year, and i think he'll only get better. When Brown and Lumpkin leave UGA, there will be no problem with the running game. Heck, I think they should let Moreno play RB the whole game right now instead of putting him in for 2 plays and then taking him right back out. If he stays healthy and gets to play as much as he can, I think Moreno could possibly battle for the Heisman in a couple of years and will make a good NFL player.

matthew stafford...everytime i hear georgia being talked about on espn they talk about how much potential this guy has...and remember he is only a sophomore so he still has 2 years to put it all together...and anybody that start in the sec as a freshmen has to have alot of potential

Stafford makes me sick everytime he takes the field. He hasn't really impressed me with anything he has done in his two seasons @ UGA. Stafford has had a hard time this year hitting is WR's, but some fault should go to the WR's for dropping potential TD's. The first time Moreno really impressed me was the FIRST game of the year against Ok. State with his spin move. I think all UGA has to do to win his give the ball to Moreno, block for him, and watch him run.

stafford has done fine...you said it yourself that moreno aint fast so he aint a game breaking running back...he is the rumble tumble type back and runnung like that will get him nicked up quick...also in the sec big backs generally dont do well

To me, i would rather have a HB that can't be taken down than one that is all speed. Stafford hasn't yet had a game where he wowed everybody watching, and he is really the only person who will start at QB for UGA. Moreno, on the other hand, has to fight with Brown, Lumpkin, and Caleb King in a couple of years. So far Moreno has proven to everyone that he is the right man for the job. If Stafford wants to prove that he is the QB everyone thinks he is, he better have a HUGE year this year

UGA. He could take a dump on Richt's shoe and it'd be the best play those sorry, fleabitten mongrels run all season.
No. Wait.
Tim Tebow. He'll spend more time in the end zone than the Dawgs will all season.

Alot of great backs in football aren't fast. There are three kinds of backs. Power ,speed, and visoin shifty guys.. The great ones have speed, power, vision and shiftyness. The great ones all have atleast two of those.
