Alright, for Anthony Morelli, I picked him because he is having a good year so far. He has 8 TD's and 1 INT, all year. He is doing alright, right now. Michael Hart is averaging 167 YDS per game and 5 TD's right now. He is a Heisman Candidate and he is playing like one.

Chris Wells has been playing solid too right now, he is averaging 108 YDS per game and has 2 TD's. Mario Manningham is a VERY good deep threat for the Wolverines, he has been quieter this year, but when they go back to their throwing, like they should. He will get back up there and make his long catches that he does best. I took Deon Butler as my other receiver because he is the Nittany Lions #1 receiver and is doing a good job of holding his spot with 154 YDS, but no TD's. He will be the guy to watch later. The heart of my Offensive Line is Jake Long, he is probably the best O-Lineman in the country and he WILL be a #1 Round pick.

On defense I took as my Linebackers James Laurinaitis, Shawn Crable and Dan Conner. These are the top LB's on all three of the teams I selected. They are the defensive captains which are another plus because that means they are responsible and the coaches know they won't let down.

I took Curtis Painter as my quarterback because already through 3 games he's got 13 touchdown passes and has thrown for 962 yards. I took Dorien Bryant as one of my receivers because he is Painters number one option and has 20 receptions on the year. I took Luke Swan because, he is Wisconsin's number one receiver and has 17 receptions on the year. I took PJ Hill because he has 399 yards on the season. Tyrell Sutton is my other running back while he's only got 122 yards, but has big play abillity

Okay, I will break down your team:

Curtis Painter - Call me when he plays a good defense, then we will see if he is for real. He fell short last year with Purdue.

P.J. Hill - Played no good defenses. Washington State, UNLV, and Citadel, which they barely beat...

Tyrell Sutton - Has 122 YDS on the year... and is injured. He isn't even playing, why pick him?

Luke Swan - He is their #1 receiver now, but once good defenses find this out, he will forever be under double coverage and will not make as big of plays, I think I can nearly gurantee that.

Dorien Bryant - Again, Curtis Painter and the Purdue offense has not played any good defenses, so he will make catches until the defense they face, is good...

So, so far your offense consists of a QB that played no good defenses, a running back that played no defenses and has 133 YDS a game. A running back that is injured, so isn't even playing. 2 #1 receivers that will be covered wel against good defensive teams. Against a good defense like mine, I don't see how you will score very much. P.J. Hill won't knock through my defensive line. When the pressure is brought, Curtis Painter won't be able to throw the ball.

The same could be said for your quarterback, the first REAL defense they played was today versus Michigan, and Morelli didnt play all that well. Secondly you can take away both of my receivers, but I've got a good receiving TE in Travis Beckum, don't tell me you can put a LB on him because he's too fast, and you can't put a S on him because he's too strong. Painter is a talented qb who took advantage of horrible D.

My corners will be able to take away the deep ball.

Taylor Melhaff is good

TE i meant Travis Beckum

Chris Wells is very good. Save my vote till you guys actually make arguments.

Report Offensive Comment

The Big Ten is so down this year. I will just opt with playing nobody. I think I would have the best team.

Report Offensive Comment

Purdue is more talented than Michigan and Ohio State. Look at the stats and/or schedule!

mehlhaff is probably the best kicker in the B10

Report Offensive Comment

At least Purdue hasn't been challenged by a MAC school (Akron anybody?)

Mario Manningham runs his routes for not speed, but cut-back and agility to get the defenders to back off. He burns them, no deep threat taken away there. A Line-Backer named James Laurinaitis is pretty fast. I could also put a Safety on him. You do know that the safeties would know to go for the legs and not arm tackle a tight end. Notre Dame's defense is not as bad as people may think it is. At least Morelli played a Division 1-A Team...

I guess I got you with your running backs. Also, you said nothing about mine. A Field Goal kick won't win you a game. Especially if you don't score anything in the first place, so Melhaff being good wouldn't really help...!

Report Offensive Comment

Yeah I've conceded the running backs. Im well aware of the legs. I like my d-lines ability to get after your qb. I wasnt just talking about Notre Dame, don't forget the defensive juggernauts of Florida International and Buffalo.

Report Offensive Comment

I was thinking them. Considering Buffalo and Florida INTL. were ranked in the 100's for the past couple years, lol.

Report Offensive Comment

lol pretty good throwdown though
