The Lions, obviously, played horrifically on defense. They gave up 56 points. No team that plays "well" gives up 56 points!
What you will say is that "Kitna passed for 400 whatever yards. He was sacked 8 times, 9 in fact but the last one wasn't called."
The Lions played terribly, of course.
The Eagles played very well. But the Lions DID NOT!
