See, my problem is I'm too nice. TDs like this are hard, because ultimately, the worst team will be the one catastrophically run down by injuries, allegations and things not yet known.

Or they're run by Al Davis.

But since the obvious pick Oakland can't be considered this year like it has the past few seasons, it's harder to force myself into being mean and label someone else. It's like the really nice girl in class or at work asks you out, you feel terrible saying no, but the fact is she's otherwise boring, unattractive and guaranteed to ruin your night.

So if the Mannings had a sister...

The point is, unfortunately, the hapless Buffalo Bills will easily earn the worst record in the league by season's end. And I do mean "earn." They were bad enough going into Week 3, but the shellacking the Patriots put on them was felt more with the loss of JP Losman and rookie Paul Poszlusney. They already lost their starting FS Ko Simpson and CB Jason Webster, and now, they have to send a rookie QB into this K-Fed-like disaster. They will win two games this year.

And I'm just being nice.

You know that battle scene from Braveheart? Do you remember when Wallace saw the leader of the English on a horse, and Wallace yelled out "Bast*rd!!!" (Please let that slide moderators, lol) That's what I was thinking when I saw that you picked the Bills. Darn you!!!

So, I'll take the Minnesota Vikings for 400, Alex. DAILY DOUBLE!!!

At 1-2, they've already lost to other chumps like the Lions and Chiefs. Yeah, they have a good running game. They have a solid defense. But they are in the same position that the Chicago Bears are in, they don't have a reliable quarterback. You know Mr. Jackson's stats. They make you want to puke. And so do his receiving options. That team won't be able to score on the big shots of the NFL. And they are about to get to play those big shots. Tell me if this is not brutal. Vs GB, at CHI, at DAL, vs PHI, vs SD, at GB, vs OAK, at NYG, vs DET, at SF, vs CHI, vs WAS, and at DEN.

Do you see one game that is a lock for this team? Uh, I don't. This team is no better off than that 2006 team that only scored 17 PPG, and was the 23rd overall offense. ***Continued in the Comments***

Minnesota has the league???s 11th-ranked defense, and that's with an offense weaker than Milton Bradley's control over his temper. Where is Buffalo?

Dead last. In everything. And they just lost a key defensive player, AND their starting quarterback! I mean, do you realize this team has 267 passing yards in three games? I thought they hadn???t updated the stats through Week 3 when I first saw it.

I'm not saying Losman is Peyton Unitas, but without him in there for the next two weeks, the Bills have a Pick Your Poison offense. They can beat themselves by passing, or by running.

The Vikings have a top-notch defense, they just have to be on the field for three quarters because they have a group of JV QBs on the roster. While Jackson is probably still worse than Trent Edwards, but even Rex Grossman manages to not throw four INTs every now and again. If T-Jack saves just one of those, the Vikes are able to beat Detroit. And they already have a 1-game lead over Buffalo.

Considering how bad both of them have looked through three games, that might be all Minnesota needs to be drafting second in April.

Cooz, of course the Bills aren't going to look pretty in the rankings when they have to play the Broncos(6th), Steelers(8th), and Patriots(1st) in the 1st three weeks. And of course the Vikings are going to be so high in defensive rankings when they play the Falcons(20th), Lions(3rd), and Chiefs(29th).

Yes, the Bills will more than likely shoot themselves in the foot for the next few weeks, but the Vikings will be doing the exact same thing right along with them. In the next two to three weeks, the Vikings play vs GB, at CHI, and at DAL. While the Bills get stomped without Losman, the Vikings are going to be getting stomped by some of the best teams in the NFL.

Tavaris Jackson has the lowest QB Rating through three weeks of the season so far with a 40.0. After seeing his performances last season, I knew that ESPN.com hadn't made a mistake. This kid is about as lost as Rex Grossman.

Minnesota has had a defense, has had a run game, and still haven't been able to do much with it. The ONLY reason they had six wins last season was because they had Brad Johnson at QB.

Mac, the teams you mentioned are ranked high offensively and defensively BECAUSE they played the Bills. The Bills bleaux. Period.

And the offensive teams playing the Vikings do not rank very high because they got stopped by the Vikings. In fact, I think the Vikings offense would stop beating itself, this team could pick up a few wins here and there. Their defense is that good.

Tarvaris Jackson has barely any more starting experience than you and I do. Leave it to ESPN to make bold predictions like Tarvaris Jackson is a shaky quarterback. Of course he is. He started two games as a rookie from Ala-f'n-bama State last season. The first was primetime at Lambeau (where every rookie wins in his first start???) and the second one was a Week 17 throwaway against St. Louis. Basically, he's a first-year starter right now, and he didn't even play against the Chiefs.

Either way, if the Bills will continue to shoot themselves in their feet, and the Vikings will be doing the same thing, Buffalo has the (dis)advantage. They don't have the lowly Falcons on their schedule. I don't see Buffalo winning a game before Week 10, and they will not be favored in any contest this year.

The fact that Jackson has barely any starting experience actually helps me out, Cooz. He has barely gotten his feet wet in his 5 games. Having to watch the leader of the team take his first steps all the while having such a talented defense is like fingernails on a chalk board.

Example: The Chicago Bears. They had such a talented overall team, and were drug down constantly by their first time starting QB in Grossman. They won games because they had help from a dynamic PR/KR and a lights out defense. The Vikings do not have that extra support in ST's. They only had ONE return TD in 2006.

The Vikes don't have a reliable QB, don't have any support in the PR/KR game, so that is leaving the defense to win them games. And that is not enough.

The Bills have plenty of chances when Losman returns. With Losman and his best buddy Lee Evans, they together can give the Bills a shot against Miami(twice), Jacksonville, Cleveland, and the Giants. Yes, the Giants, those undisciplined goofs that have a warden for a HC.

Both of these teams will be between 2-4 wins. And by then, the Vikings will have finally learned how to be good at something: tanking. #1 pick to the Vikes.

The Falcons and the Bills are deadlocked.

September 25, 2007  07:20 PM ET

Oh yeah, and don't vote until Mac argues

September 25, 2007  07:25 PM ET

Mac, say the Steelers!!!! lol

September 25, 2007  07:32 PM ET

2 wins for the Bills?! Damn, harsh!

I'm gonna go into my dungeon and cook up a retort.

Your argument was fun to read, Cooz. lqtm.

September 25, 2007  07:56 PM ET

They'd be my choice as well.....

Good luck Mac!

September 25, 2007  08:31 PM ET

The way the Saints are playing, it could be them.... at least the Falcons have been in one game. The Saints have not even shown a glimpse of any winning football yet. Brees is playing worse than Big Ben did last year, but he didnt run head 1st into a car, have an appendecomy, and then get a concussion. The "aints" seem to have returned to '05 form. They have looked soooo unprepared in every game on both O and D...

September 25, 2007  08:34 PM ET

I just can't bring myself to say the Saints, Mike. It would hurt to much.

September 25, 2007  08:37 PM ET

***Continuation of Argument #1***

They had six wins in 2006, and look poised to do less than that. This team does have AP, but when they play teams like the Packers, Bears, and Chargers, they won't survive.

Your a nice guy, I know that. But for me, nice stops at 7 o' clock at night. The Vikings are going to be clawing for extra room in the basement of the NFL right along side the Bills and whoever else feels the need to take the plunge. The Bills have a shot with some of the weapons they have offensively, while the Vikings have one with a target on his back. (AP)

September 25, 2007  08:40 PM ET

I know Mac, but you can't say the thought is far from possible... especially with Deuce gone for the year, and jason david out for 6 weeks. I know david has given up big plays BUT he is the starter for a reason. Just think what the guy who replaces him is going to give up. Reggie can't seem to just lower his shoulders and hit a gap without all the dancing around that continues to keep him around 2 ypc...

September 25, 2007  08:40 PM ET

BIG NEWS OUT OF CHICAGO!!!

The Bears have decided to bench Grossman for the next game vs the Lions, and put in Griese.

HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

September 25, 2007  08:41 PM ET

I know, Mike. The Saints are horrible right now. The offense is looking putrid, and the defense is looking like 5th graders.

BUT, I couldnt pull the trigger. I'm weak.

September 25, 2007  08:45 PM ET

Oucchh.. i live in buffalo and i think they will get at least 5 wins this year... we have gotten off to a REAL rough start.. we are missing more that what he says in his debate. we have lost Fs-Ko Simpson, LBs- Paul Pusluszny(who was 3rd in the league in tackles) Keith Ellison, and top backup coy wire, we've lost 2 rotating defensive tackles( one wih a broken foot, ones suspended) starting corner Jason Webster. Against the patriots, the opposite side starting corner Terrance Mcgee did not play, Losman was hurt on the first play. this season sucksssss

September 25, 2007  08:53 PM ET

Great Throwdown

My vote is for Steelercooz.

Well Argued Arguments for both. Nice TD

Love that line!

September 25, 2007  09:04 PM ET

Now I'm gonna go finish "Platoon".

September 25, 2007  09:36 PM ET

I wont be back to make my 2nd argument until tommorow.

Not that it matters, I'm already down 8-2. YAY!

September 25, 2007  10:05 PM ET

10-2.

Encouraging!!!

Oh, and Cooz...I finished "Platoon". All I can say is: Damn!

September 26, 2007  04:44 PM ET

***Continuation of Argument #2***

Jackson has only led this team to one win in his six starts. With Jackson as the fulltime QB, they are going to continue their dismal play. Hanging on to the hope that Jackson doesn't toss a few INT's is not the way to go. The Vikings don't have a Bear or Raven like defense. They are terrible against the pass, and they play plenty of games against powerful passing offenses.

Losman is not expected to be gone for very long. Just a few weeks. And you know as well as any Bills fan that last season he showed he had a bright future ahead of him. He is capable of leading that team to some victories. Remember that Week 12 game from 2006 when Losman led the Bills down the field to setup a FG to beat the Jags? The Bills have the talent on offense to squeak out a few games no matter how battered and bruised their defense is.

The Bills may be in the middle of a K-Fed like disaster, but the Vikings are in a "Cheney's Got A Gun" like disaster.

September 26, 2007  04:46 PM ET

I'm get my butt whooped and I'm still bringing it! BOO-YAH!

Oh, and Cooz...

PLATOON WAS AWESOME AND HEART WRENCHING!!!
