The 2001 Miami Hurricanes were a better team than the 2004 USC Trojans. From their depth at running back, wide receiver, tightend to their tightly sealed defense. This team was loaded with superstars on offense, defense and special teams. For goodness sake they had Sean Taylor, Kellen Winslow, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore, Najeh Davenport, and Antrel Rolle among many others as BACKUPS.
Head to head, it would be a close game but those and so many other factors point to the Hurricanes ultimately prevailing in the end.

I'm gonna take 1995 Nebraska over the 'canes for a couple of reasons.

1.) They averaged 50+ a game.

2.) They humiliated second ranked flordia 62-24 in the Fiesta Bowl, which was the largest margin of victory in a championship game, I think it still is...

3.) They beat 4 teams that finished in the top 10 by an average score of 49-18

4.) Their smallest margin of victory was 14 points.

There weren't any athletes to really excel in the pros afterwards, but i think that just proves the point even more that they were a great team instead of a good team with great players carrying them along the way.

Let me clarify. I said 2001 Miami v. 2004 USC not Miami vs. the world. The defense was much stingier than USC's 2004 team while their offense was just as potent

So you agree with me that Nebraska's '95 team is better then? Okay, just checking...

Could u at least try to express some knowledge on the topic? Please. This getting ridiculous. Who do u think is gonna win the 2008 nba finals, the New Orleans Jazz?

Some knowledge on the topic? Well I think I've already laid down some info. I don't know why you started talking about the NBA. Personally, I think that sounds more off topic than anything I've ever written. I don't understand why you would bring that up at all. Maybe you're mentally retarded, yeah, that'd probably explain it.

The 95 Nebraska did have the greatest analyst in the world Trev Alberts. It's hard to argue against them. Otherwise Alberts will personally attack you.

Second greatest moment ever to a UT fan: watching Spurrier get his butt beat real bad.

September 26, 2007  05:21 PM ET

Woww... I made an opening statement pitting 2 teams against each other, u digress from the topic, come up with a whole new team. Then I make an ANALOGY illustrating your lack of grasp on the subject and I am mentally retarded. Wow.
