I'll use Dana's newly implemented rules.. 5 rounds for non-title mainevents..
I like Rashad TKO 4..
Yeah, i like Tito to go at least 3. Tito does have good endurance, and his will' to win is more than a majority of the fighters' out there..
"SUGA BOOGA" puts the smacketh downeth in the 4th.. Exciting fight, but at least we have a victor this time..
I also credit Tito with 1 or tops 2 rounds credited to him, Rashad's been out the loop for nearly 14 months coming into the fight..
DJRoxalot said 07/14, 04:02 AM
You taking Evans? Selling out your boi, PCH???
Tito has lost his last 3 fights by decision. He hasn't been stopped since Chuck Liddell dominated him back in December of 2006.
I think Rashad wins 4 rounds to 1 as he thoroughly dominates Ortiz but is unable to put away "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy."
Evans has just 5 wins by KO and 2 by submission. 8 by decision.
And Evans does not have dynamite in his hands like Liddell does.
Chuck had 13 wins by KO and 1 by submission. 66.6% of his wins didn't go the distance. More than 50% of Rashad's wins have gone the distance.
Evans is a good defensive fighter who has a 64% strike defense. And his takedown defense is 66% while Ortiz has a takedown accuracy of just 34%.
So I think it is safe to say Ortiz is going to be looking to drop some bombs and try and KO Evans.
Which I think he will not do obviously.
fightmetric.com, PCH. Check it out.

Evans smacked Liddell into a new universe.. that's all he did..
and he beat the sh8t outta Forrest by TKO..
Lets face the facts, Rashad's overhand right is silly dangerous, you can't find that on any mma fighting site, and it was obvious in Pch'es home state, when Liddell sat cold on his own chin, on the canvas, in the dirty dirty.
So keep thinking the man doesn't have any power..
It's funny DJ, you've gotten into mma td's like 2 months ago, I have yet to see you take a chance in any of the td's. Best pound for pound fighter, your pick, Anderson Silva. Ok, that's great.. You bash Houston Alexander for losing to Kimbo slice, yet, you don't even watch anything outside the uFC, and tell me he sucks. You take the easy rode on this td, by saying Rashad wins a decision.. You give Rashad one more round.. then you HAVE to go to fightmetrics.com
I've lost about 5 mma td's in the past 3 days, yet i watch it religiously.. starting to get a lil teee'd off..
DJ, I started the movement of MMA td's .. you are a NEWB to this..
Rashad has great hands, these two will be extremely tired, an

Liddell cannot take a shot and was almost 40 when Evans took him out. 6 of his 8 losses were by KO or TKO.
Ortiz can take a punch much better than Chuckie.
Ortiz has only been stopped by Chuckie and that was in a heated rivalry.
Griffin? Seriously? He has been stopped KO'd by Silva, no crime there. Spider is a beast but he also got stopped by Keith Jardine. A guy with a 17-9 record and someone who has been KO'd in 5 of his 9 losses himself.
"I've lost about 5 mma td's in the past 3 days, yet i watch it religiously.. starting to get a lil teee'd off.."
With as many L's as you have, what are a few more? Watching them hasn't translated to your arguments yet. When will it? Watching it is one thing but being able to understand it enough to translate it to arguing is something else entirely.
"DJ, I started the movement of MMA td's .. you are a NEWB to this.."
Okay, you started them. And what? You got a plaque to hang or something? I may be a recent NEWB to MMA but I have schooled you in how many MMA TD's? You should WELCOME people to the wonderful sport of MMA. Not bash me because you cannot argue.

Nah, it's cool you've come to the other side, but at the same time, it's pretty lame you get votes like you know what you're talking about. I don't have to go to wiki to get new knowledge, i know it!
This fight between Rashad and Tito will end before the bell rings at the end of the 5th round. IN desperation, Rashad will touch Tito's chin. Yes, the numbers don't show Rashad as a executioner, but o yes, he is!
Tito wil fall, 4th round. These guys will be in each other's grill for 3 rounds, a punch will land, and i don't trust Tito's chin.
Yes, tito is my dude, i'll be rooting for him for sure, but realistically, Rashad has his number.
Rashad's layoff will show early rounds, but these two guys will be grappling, and short punches will be thrown. If i had to bet on one or the other's punches, i'll go with Rashad.
Rashad is more elusive than Tito. When Rashad Ko'd Liddell, there was only Rampage before him. Liddell wasn't on the Ko choo choo train just yet.
Rashad on the other hand has been in with some big time sluggers, and not been ko'd. He's beaten Thiago Silva and Rampage, who both caught his chin to no avail.
tito's cinderella story ends tragically.

Research, son. As long as you sound like you know what you are talking about? That is what matters. You have been TD'ing long enough to know this. The research has helped broaden my knowledge of the sport.
UH complimented me. And we know he doesn't do that very often. No offense, PCH. But UH has a little more knowledge than you.
"Tito wil fall, 4th round. These guys will be in each other's grill for 3 rounds, a punch will land, and i don't trust Tito's chin."
Since when? Tito has one of the better "chins" in MMA. He can take a shot. The only time he couldn't was against "The Iceman."
And Liddell was a better striker than Evans. 52.3% of Liddell's wins are by KO.
Numbers do not lie.
"Rashad on the other hand has been in with some big time sluggers, and not been ko'd."
We both agree Evans wins. Tito will test Evans and I think he will catch Rashad with some shots but I do not think he will finish the job.
"tito's cinderella story ends tragically."
Nope. I think Evans wins an impressive decision after 3 or 5 five rounds. But Tito doesn't embarrass himself.
