I'll close with why I don't like your picks.
I'm not big on championship tributes. I think the word should be left to people who have died or retired. I like "commemorate" better for winning teams/people. Or maybe celebratory. Tribute just seems like too much of an important word for just winning.
2) I also think that tribute should be reserved for the best of the best if you ARE going to use it the word. Dynasties and amazing players.
Bettis was a good player, but I don't know if he was great. A tribute to a good player isn't as impactful as a tribute to a great one. When I think of the best backs of all time, I don't have Bettis high up on the list, but that's just my opinion.
