Main Event: Anderson Silva (1975) v Dan Henderson (1970) LHW
UFC MW champ Silva has cleaned out the division & makes another foray into LHW against the SF LHW champ Hendo who was the only person to provide any challenge to Silva during a 4 year stretch from 2006-2010 until Sonnen gave him a tough fight
Co-Main Event: Fedor (1976) v Randy Couture (1963) HW
Its 4 years over due but Randy finally gets the fight he tried leaving the UFC for. Fans will still line up to see this match up as Cpt America takes on the Russian in this Cold War battle of superstars at the end of their careers
Rest of Card:
Shane Carwin (1975) v Roy Nelson (1976) HW
Both fighters are coming off 2 losses to top guys in the division & are looking to get back on track. Both are heavy handed & this fight should stay standing & be a slugfest
Rich Franklin (1974) v Tito Ortiz (1975) LHW
Surprisingly these 2 vets have never fought. Both can draw fans, are at the bottom of the top 10 in their division & fighting to stay relevant. Should be a good back & forth entertaining fight
Wanderlei Silva (1976) v Matt Hamill (1976) LHW
Silva returns to LHW to take on the tough & often entertaining Hamill

Main Event:
Anderson Silva vs Fedor (catch weight of 215)
We have already seen Silva vs Hendo so, why give people a MAIN EVENT they have already seen? Up until recently these 2 have been the top guys in MMA and Silva has said numerous times he wants to fight Fedor. You can't have an event where you get to make the matches and not have these 2 fight.
Next I will go With Hendo vs Big Nog (catch weight of 220)
They fought once before in Pride and ended with Nog getting a submission win. 2 pioneers of the sport in Pride squaring off again!!
I will agree with the next 2 fights of Carwin/Nelson and Tito/Franklin
My final fight of the night would be
Matt Hamill vs Lil Nog
Both guys are coming off of losses, but could turn around their career with a win over the other. Nog has the advantage standing, but Hamill has the wrestling. Which Nog is no slouch on the ground. So I say this fight stays on the feet and would be a great fight.
While its nice seeing Randy and Wanderlei on a card, its time for them to move on after their last fights.

"why give people a MAIN EVENT they have already seen"
So Liddell/Couture2 Hughes/GSP2 Lesnar/Mir2 & many others werent worthy main events? Faulty logic. Silva/Hendo 1 was a good fight, no reason to think #2 wouldnt also. It has 2 champs fighting & the winner would earn the next shot at Jones. My matchup is more significant on the MMA landscape w/the victory meaning something. Silva/Fedor wouldve been good if Fedor was still the unbeatable legend, after 2 straight losses this fight lost its luster & is a lose/lose situation 4 Silva
Your comain isnt just a rematch but a 3rd fight between guys that no 1 has asked for & wouldnt generate any buzz. A win for either fighter does nothing to advance them in rankings or get them closer 2 title fights n their divisions. Fedor/Couture is a fight fans have wanted for years. Even w/both at the end of their careers this fight would be HUGE. It would generate lots of buzz, be a big ppv draw for hardcore & casual fans & be a good farewell matchup to both
Hammel is entertaining when facing aggressive fighters who push him. VS Nog I see this being a boring grinder like Nog vs Bader/Davis. Wandy will push Matt & itll end w/a KO of or by Silva

What you fail to realize in the Silva/Fedor fight is the intrigue it brings. Yes Fedor is coming off of 2 losses, but look at how he lost those fights. Bigfoot out weighed him by 40 lbs, and Werdum suckered him into going to the ground with him. The Spider doesn't have either of those advantages on him.
Randy doesn't need to step back into the octagon. He only tarnishes his rep by trying to hold on. He is retired for a reason. See the Machida fight.
Silva vs Fedor fits that so much better as a main event than Hendo vs Silva.
Next you say the Nog vs Hendo matchup doesn't propell either towards a belt. Its not intended to. Its to settle the score. Both have a win against each other. Hendo already has a belt, so this is for pride!!! And for the record this isn't a co-main event. I don't want or need one. Not every card has to have a CO ME.
On to the Lil Nog vs Hamill fight.
I went with lil nog over Wanderlei. The Axe Murderer is a shell of his former self. I for one do not want to see a legend keep getting destroyed. Lil Nog is still relevant and a win over Hamill could put him back on track. Nog is still ranked in the top 10 LHW's in most polls.

Top to bottom my cards better. Look at the comments- every1 liked my whole card& didnt say there was 1 fight they didnt like. Of your 3 changes only 1 got them talking. Maybe your ME is better but mine in its entirety is better for the fans. My fights are more entertaining, more important to the overall mma landscape& r matchups people want to see. My card would sell more ppvs
My ME has 2 current champs fighting w/a shot at the LHW belt on the line. Yours is only intriguing to hardcore fans since casual ones think Fedor is overrated. More people would want to see mine& it is a true ME because of its title implications
My CoME is a fight both fans& the fighters have wanted for years. Yours may be a rubber match but no1 wants to see it& it creates 0 interest. & Randy was on a 3 fight win streak, dont hold a ko from a top 4 LHW against him
Our last fight shows how style matchups make good fights. Wandy can still bring it& will pressure Matt in2 putting on a good show. They will go back& forth on their feet& it'll end w/a ko. Nog in his last fights against guys similar to Matt was boring & this1 would be the same. Wandys also a bigger draw than Nog
My 3 > your3 changes

How can you say no one wants to see Hendo and Nog fight. Any MMA fan would pay to see that fight.
Lets compare our 3 different matches.
Spider/Fedor > Spider/Hendo.... Spider/Fedor gives us MMA fans something new and exciting. Clash of 2 of the most dominate fighters ever!!
Hendo/Big Nog > Fedor/Randy.... No MMA fan wants to see Randy back in the Octagon after how his last fight ended so easily for Machida.
You say Randy was on a 3 fight win streak, but fail to mention who those 3 fighters were. Vera "who I think won that fight", a washed up Coleman, and James Freakin' Toney.... Not exactly the who's who of MMA.
Hamill/Lil Nog > Hamill/ Wanderlei...
Wanderlei is a shell of his former self. He is getting KO'd by guys at 185lbs, why would you want to see him move up to 205?
While Lil Nog is still relevant at LHW and the winner of him and Hamill would have meaning.
Your right styles do make a fight and I think Lil Nogs style makes this a great matchup. Hamill will not want to go to the ground with him. Lil Nogs boxing is very underrated.
So all in all I think my card is better
Great TD Pete!!

An ammendment to the rules that Scott and I agreed on: instead of just using fighters who are 35 or older right at this moment, we agreed to use fighters born in 1976 or early. That way anyone who turns 35 this year is elgible and we have some more options on who to choose from.

Yeah making the change to guys born that year instead of who are 35 right now added like 4-5 guys we could use, not only giving us more options but also much better fighters for some good matchups.

I had to come out and try to blow you out of the water like Carwin against Brock. Hopefully I didn't use up everything I had in the first round for you to come back and steal the victory from me.
