im gonna have to say Charles Barkley.. HAHA JK...
im saying Shaq O'Neal.. he is loved by all... he also seems like he would know wat he is doing.. he also is already involved with that sort of thing with the Miami Police Department.. So we know he is involved in the community...

I'm bored, sorry if I'm aggervating you by taking back to back TD's from you. lol.

"The Diesel" is loved by many, maybe not all. I don't know, he's cool with me. He went to LSU. LSU!!!

Anyway, this has got to go to Peyton Manning.

He is without a doubt the most popular NFL player right now. And he's expanding himself pretty well. He's in so many commercials that he's on sometimes on multiple channels at the same time. He was HILARIOUS on SNL. Peyton Manning has been the king of the NFL world ever since he got his first Super Bowl.

"Maddy?"

Manning hasnt shown he is involved with the community... i dont know bout u but i dont want my president to be in 1000 commercials.. I dont think Manning wrote any of his stuff for SNL.. so u cant say he was funny... he just acted well...
but going by wat u said.. id think Shaq would be better on SNL than Peyton.. (if that mattered for a pres)

oo and by the way the SNL with manning when he was like bashing his mom.. that was pretty funny...

Peyton actually does some pretty cool stuff for the community. He has the QB Camp that he runs with his father and Eli. And earlier this month he donated an amount of money to the Children's Hospital at St. Vincent's. And what was cool too, the Children's Hospital renamed itself to: "Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent".
What is one of the many problems with Bush? Well for one, he is a pretty pathetic public speaker. Shaq is really cool, but you can't understand him due to his DEEP voice. Manning's acting experience could help him when he has to make public speaches.
But as far as the better shot at winning the Presidency like the topic states, it would go to Manning. He is the more popular sports figure at this time. When he was on SNL, that episode earned the highest rating for the show in the last 10 months. I think that was because Peyton Manning was there. Manning is everywhere in commmercials: DirecTV, Sprint, Mastecard, Gatorade, and the ESPN This is SportsCenter ads.
At this point in time, Manning would receive more of the popular vote.

they wont understand Shaq because of his deep voice!?.. Manning has an accent too... i can understand shaq more than i can understand peyton... commercials have nothing to do with presidential candidacy unless it says vote for so and so...
well listen to this.. in Tennessee he dropped his pants for an assistant athletic trainer (there was no problem in that area that needed to be healed)(or u could say there was =p )... How is that for your pres?

It doesn't matter that much if Manning dropped his pants way back in college. He's 31 years old right now, thats long gone in the past. And I'd bet nobody other than old Vols fans even know that.

You aren't understanding my point. The TV time he is getting is showing how popular he has become. He is the face of the NFL. He is a larger sports figure than Shaq is right now. Manning has been marketing himself pretty well and has his face everywhere.

"Tommy, you're my favorite accountant! You're on my fantasy team!"

Since you have to be 35 to even run for president, most active athletes have ZERO chance. There's always Barry Bonds, though ;-)
