Keeping this up until the end.
Personally, I would rather have military go in and deliver the food and supplies, but our military is spread way too thin. Let's have someone like Russia, China, or France step up to the plate and take care of it. They act like they want to be one of the big boys of the world, so let them show how much they care. They want to be called part of the U.N. so here's there chance to show the rest of the world that they really care.
Cuz let's face it, you can't just send the Red Cross into Somalia unless they're armed to the teeth. It's like sending aid to North Korea, the citizens will never get it, it will go straight to the army. Same with Somolia... the pirates and warlords will take all of it and leave nothing for everyone else.
But by all means, donate. Don't get me wrong, it's a good cause and you should help them, but the way the help gets to them needs to be fixed.

Sorry, I have been busy past couple of days.
I understand there are concerns regarding the decades of instability in the region but if the world turns their back on them, you will only make the situation worse .
I urge everyone to help. I know there are plenty of worthy causes in our own backyards that need attention.
My whole purpose is to raise awareness.
