OK, changes are:

I say the Steelers lose to the Colts, you disagree,

and

I say the Steelers beat the Chiefs, you disagree.

Steelers - Colts first.

Over the course of the last 3 seasons, the Colts are a combined 19-5 at home in regular season games.

They've been one of the toughest teams to beat at home over that stretch.

Playing in a dome is an advantage for Peyton and Co., since they are able to utilize their finely tuned passing attack to the fullest, without any interference from Mother Nature.

Everyone knows that Peyton is a perfectionist and relies on his WRs knowing exactly when to make cuts, and often he'll even throw the ball before a receiver is open, simply because the routes are being run exactly how they practice them, and he knows exactly where a WR will be at any given time.

Rain and other weather factors can throw off the whole scheme, but it won't be a factor this year.

They're playing in Indy, and they'll have that home field advantage working for them.

Pittsburgh has a great defense, but when the Colts are executing properly, they are simply unstoppable.

The Colts are at home, so the Colts will win this game.

Peyton is great when it comes to a passing game and he does rank the colts at number one in that regard.

Im not too big into Rothlisberger but id say the only thing he's got going for him is a passing game as well. With that said the colts don't have the defense to hold back when Ben's on fire.

Now, what the steelers have going on verses the colts is their defense.

Peytons passes in this match up will be dismissed. The steelers in 2010 only gave up 214 passing yards a game.

The steelers gave up way less yards on average then the colts, ranking the steelers second in total defense. with the colts standing in 20th for overall defense.

Peytons passing game may be pretty to watch but when it comes to points on the board... pretty colts offense matched with Pittsburgh's skilled and aggressive Defense wont cut it.

So basically what we're looking at is Polamalu protecting our zone and Rothlisberger getting past the colts D.

The colt wont be able to put up enough points against Pitt to take home the win.

Ok, moving right along.

You say the Chiefs will beat the Steelers this year. I disagree, and here's why.

The Chiefs main offensive approach is to run the ball. Granted, they're very successful at it, but the Steelers had the league's best run defense last year, allowing less than 63 yards per game.

The Chiefs defense wasn't bad, ranking 14th overall in terms of total defense, but the Steelers offense should be one of the NFL's best this year, considering Rashard Mendenhall broke out last year with 1,273 yards and 13 TDs on the ground.

Plus, Roethlisberger and the passing game should be even better than last year, as Mike Wallace should emerge even more as a deep threat, and with Pouncey anchoring the O-Line, Big Ben should have plenty of time to throw the ball.

Even if he gets pressured by KC, one of Roethlisberger's best attributes is his ability to improvise on the run, and KC doesn't have a good enough secondary to stick with Pitt's receivers for an extended amount of time.

Bottom line, Pitt will shut down KC's offense but KC's defense will not be able to contain the Steeler offense.

It all adds up to a Steeler victory.

Good TD, baby.

thanks babe:)

The steelers did have rushing defense on lock defense on lock in 2010, but on the other hand KC was ranked number one in rushing offense. with those stats alone itd be a competative and great game to watch.

Im going to take this in a bit of a different direction---

now here's why i think KC will take it home...

First of all, in 2010 they did have the number one rushing offense in the NFL.

Second, the last time Pitt and KC played each other was in 2009 in kansas City, KC won.

Third, kc this year will again play with home field advantage.

Fourth, Rothlisberger is well known for his disapointing interceptions. he averages 12-13 interceptions a season when cassel only averages 6-7 interceptions a season. Rothlisberger makes too many mistakes, he throws to the other team and gets sacked alot for holding onto the ball.

again let me remind you... this years game has the same cercumstances as 2009, same quarterbacks and same field.

2009 was Matt Cassels first season with KC and he beat the steelers, now hes got two years experience growing with his team.

KC will win the game against the Steelers.

good luck lover!
