Team Most Likely to go Undefeated in it's own Division.

So the likelihood of 1 team sweeping their Division is low, but let's look at who it could be. In my mind I only see 2 teams that could pull it off. I'm gonna go for the obvious one though (I need a W... just 1 lol).

The Eagles.

But wait, they are in the usually tough NFC East! Or are they....

NFC east will be soft this year, as it was last year. True, NFC games can get as sloppy as the next, but let's look at this year.

Don't even focus on the eagles yet. Focus on the other 3.

Redskins: Poor decision making around the clock. QB is Beck, who may be ok, but I'm not liking the random string of desperation WR moves either. I do like how they have upgraded in the RB department, but we are in a passing league. Defense underperformed. Will again.

Giants: Ummm... the only team that might shoot its own foot more than Da Bears... and they are filled with more drama than Jersey Shore (never seen it, heard bad things) enough said.

Cowboys: So many players gone, and that D-Backfield is almost as overhyped as the Vikings. And I have never been sold on Romo being a top-rate competitor. Seen flashes, no consistency.

Eagles: Most prepared and stocked for the deal.

So what have we learned today?

1-AmishLatinJew's don't watch the Jersey Shore.

2- AmishLatinJew's don't watch football. (Because saying the NFC East is going to be soft this year has to be 1 of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Well, at least this week and it's early.)

3-AmishLatinJew's are extremely homeristic.

My selection is a team that has been the dominant team in the AFC East since 2003. They have won it in every year OUTRIGHT, except 2003 and 2008 when the Dolphins won it.

They have gone 42-12 within the East in the last 9 years.

And they are loaded to make a run at sweeping all their Division rivals again. Tom Brady has a new playtoy on offense in Chad and they added a potentially huge DT in Big Albert Haynesworth.

The Bills stink. Really really bad.

The Dolphins don't have a QB and are rebuilding.

The Jets are their only competition and until Sanchez drastically improves they just aren't in the same class as NE. They have a good secondary and running game but they really won't be much of a challenge for this Pats team.

My selection is the New England Pats.

I have a question for you, do AmishLatinJew's drink beer?

What has been misinterpreted today?

1. AmishLatinJews Love football and anyone who thinks the NFC east will produce a wild card team is insane. Thereby making them "softer" than the north and south each has a good shot to produce 1, maybe the south to produce both. The west is just bad... yeah... just bad.

2. AmishLatinJews love certain beers. Sam Adams, Amber Brock, and pretty much any Oktoberfest. But, we love Vodka oooohhhhh so much more.

3. The belief that the Patriots will sweep their division. They will win it for sure... but sweep it? Ocho-Five-0 dropped more balls the past few practices than any WR in Peter King's recent memory (see his report card of the PATS). And the teammates aren't sold on Haynesworth either.

Whilst the Bills are bad and the Dolphins are so much worse, the Jets will compete and take a win from the PATs. I can't see the Eagles losing to any of their rivals. The Skins are scattered, the Boys' are scattered as well with more leaks than straw hut, and the giants... like i said, more drama than an MTV reality show and guns pointed at their feet. Nah... I'll stick with the Eagles sir.

But thanks for the interest in my life.

Chad dropped some passes? Good thing the season isn't this week, huh? The NFL just endured a lockout and the players are not in game shape. That is to be expected. Not a huge deal.

Plus he is getting used to a new QB after spending his entire career with Cincinnati and Carson Palmer throwing him the ball. Brady and Chad are pro's. They will get on the same page and be a good duo.

You can't see Philly losing to their rivals? Because you a are obviously a Eagles homer.

The NFC East has some of the most intense rivalries in all of football.

Philadelphia vs Dallas
Philadelphia vs NY Giants
Philadelphia vs Washington

You throw out the records and expectations during this games because even if a certain team sucks and has no hopes of the playoffs?

These rivalry games are their Super Bowl.

The Redskins are not very good on offense but they have an improved defense and are not going to be an easy W for Philly.

Dallas is scattered? They have a Pro Bowl caliber QB when healthy and have the potential to be the East winner.

The NYG have a very good defense and a good running game.

Buffalo is the last game of the year and NE might be resting players.

As far as Chad's drops, I'm just relaying what Peter King said in a report card of the Pats, take it or leave it. But I don't see him having the same impact as moss in 07.

Secondly, I'm not an Eagles homer. I am a Packer fan. Been one since I understood the game of football. Only one in the family. I'm not about to call Philly a "Dream Team" but they do outmatch all their rivals. I know NFC east games can be as unpredictable as a Packer-Bear game, heck, that famous eagle comeback over the giants last year was part of the reason we hit the playoffs.

The point of this TD is to look past the fact that they are rivalry games, cuz that's what most of these are gonna be since they are divisional. Look at last year, and off season moves. Cut and dry.

Redskins: Acquired some low profile recievers. Starting an inexperienced quarterback, and acquired Tim Hightower, who looks to start. Finished last season 6-10.

Cowboys: Lost Hurd, Williams, Barber, Davis, Colombo, and a few other significant others. No significant pick ups but a few re-signings. Finished 6-10. (Note: played better with Kitna than Romo)

Giants: Drama, Manning, Finished short as often they do.

Good TD

It isn't like the season is right around the corner. Chad just got there and hasn't had time to build any chemistry together. There is a reason there is 4 weeks of preseason games. Gives the players time to get in shape and for FA's to get familiar with their new surroundings.

Ernie Sims started his career with 3 straight seasons of 100 plus tackles. But last year he had just 55 tackles with the Eagles, which led the LB's.

Jamar Chaney had just 42 tackles.

Moise Foku had just 51 tackles.

That is just sad.

They drafted 3 rookie LB's. Good luck with that. Opposing teams will run a lot across the middle of the field where the LB's patrol the field.

The Redskins acquired Tim Hightower from the Cardinals. He will be an upgrade from Ryan Torain who is injury prone. Donte Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney are better than the No.2 WR's Washington had last year. The Redskins added DT Barry Cofield and DE Stephen Bowen.

Knocking Dallas? They didn't need Roy Williams with Dez Bryant and Miles Austin. Williams was being paid far too much to keep him around.

The Giants still have an excellent defense.

The Pats have 4 games vs Bills and Dolphins. They both suck.

I'll post my arguement shortly, just wanted to make sure you got in since you didnt get a chance to accept my other division TD fast enough. :)

August 8, 2011  03:34 PM ET

I would say no one. Only the Raiders did it last year and I wouldn't beat on them to do it again. Looking over the divisions its tough to come up with one. The good teams seem to be in good divisions and the bad divisions don't have anyone that gives me the confidence that they can do it.

With that said this makes a decent topic since there are arguments against anyone.

Last season, many teams played it close. Not only the NFC east. When I say soft, I mean that by only 1 team making the playoffs. No playoffs for cowboys and giants last year. Yeah, Romo was hurt last year... but you guys weren't winning with him. Had a better percentage with the KITNA RESURGENCE! And the Giants seem to knock themselves out every year down the stretch. So yes, soft as in 1 team to represent the postseason. Packers, Falcons, Eagles, and Rams/Seahawks with the wild cards being between Bears, Saints, and Bucs. Soft does not mean everyone goes 4-12. It is comparatively speaking. When we say a reciever has a slow 40, we don't mean slowest ever, we mean comparatively with NFL standard.

I dont think i would call the NFC East soft, and who says Giants or the Cowboys cant win a wildcard spot? Soft divisions are the NFC West and AFC West.

Correction sir. The west ones are "Bad." The competitive difference from the west to anywhere is like changing the difficulty in guitar hero from medium to hard, doesn't seem like much... but damn that orange button kicks your ass.

*Hoping someone got the reference so I don't look like a nerd.*
