The Raiders lost some FA's like CB Nnamdi Asomugha and TE Zach Miller.

Jason Campbell broke a dubious streak. 9 straight seasons he had a new OC since he played at Auburn. Consistency with the same offensive system with Al Saunders will help him a lot. He will have a breakout year imo.

They still have an excellent rushing attack in D-Mac and Bush. And they upgraded the OL in the draft. They signed Kevin Boss to replace Miller and to work with Campbell. Campbell has a history of working well with his TE. He had Chris Cooley in Washington and Miller in Oakland.

The DL will have to pressure the QB in order to help out a young group of CB's. Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly are the leaders of the DL that combined for 12.5 sacks last year and will be expected to do so again. DE's Matt Shaughnessy and Lamarr Houston also combined for 12 sacks to make the DL a strength.

Kamerion Wimbley a good player for the Raiders as a strongside LB last year. He led the defense with 9 sacks and also had 58 tackles.

Rolando McClain had 85 tackles, 6 PD, 6 tackles for a loss and 1 INT. I think he will emerge as one of the top MLB's in his 2nd year in the NFL.

Quentin Groves will be the weakside LB and is the only question mark imo. He had 40 tackles last year with 1 INT and his development could be key for the LB's. At 6-3 and 265 pounds he should have the size to help.

The LB's need to tackle better because the safeties had to clean up a lot when the RB got into the secondary.

Stanford Routt needs to step up and earn that insane contract he signed. He had 55 tackles, 13 PD, 2 INT's and 1 tackle for a loss.

Chris Johnson needs to step up and try and replace Aso. 2 seasons ago he had 68 tackles and 18 PD.

SS Tyvon Branch returns. He had 104 tackles, 6 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries.

Michael Huff returns as the FS. He had 94 tackles, 7 PD, 4 sacks and 3 INT's.

Sebastian Janikowski returns as the PK which is a great thing. He nailed a 57 yard FG last night vs the Cardinals and will have another excellent season.
