I see you are going with the "scary" part of odd.
I'll go a different route with "odd" and take gimmicks that flat out sucked.

Wow. This combines weak and lame into leak. No wait, that's a vegetable.
The Repo Man
Not sure why this guy is supposed to be scary or intimidating. And why the hell is he wearing a lame mask? Is he the Hamburglar or an Ass-burgalar.
Battle Kat
Ummm What? Yes, a battle kat. With a K. Rawr!

Gangrel came about during one of the big pushes for vampires in Western culture. He was also a major contributor to the Undertaker's brood and the heel movement Taker was in at the time. He had a fairly lengthy career as that gimmick. I didn't find it that odd.
Papa Shango didn't have much success, but I don't find the gimmick too odd. Voodoo is still practiced in Louisiana, Florida, Cuba and many other parts of the world. Having a witch doctor as a character isn't too strange if you think about it.
Boogey Man = odd. I'll give you that one.
So what about my picks?
A guy coming out with a giant stuffed buffalo on his head? WTF is up with that. Were we supposed to believe that Mantaur was actually part beast? You agree to that one.
That gives us our challenge at 1-1 by admission.
Battle Kat:
He wrestled in a mask that had ears. It was a furry mask. He spelled cat with a K. He thought Battle Kat sounded badass. There are all sorts of odd things about this gimmick.
Repo Man: He reposses cars and Tv's. Why is this important to someone in the ring with him? It makes no sense. Very odd!!!

I think right got terrible gimmicks mixed up with odd gimmicks. I don't think odd necessarily means bad or terrible. Peachy named 3 gimmicks that were pretty solid characters, and were involved in major story lines. Right named 3 flat out terrible gimmicks.
I think Goldust would top list of odd characters.

Ya. I thought a Repo man is an odd choice for a character. Coming out with a buffalo head attached to your face and a fuzzy mask with ears = odd. Odder to me anyway, than a witch doctor and vampire.
