So i guess now that Vick threw 3 int's in preseason, he "suxs", right?

At this time of the pre-season, a 3 int performance over a half sucks. This part was the matchup of 1st team vs 1st team was pathetic. He made bad reads, threw to the wrong team and looked totally lost. He completed 5 passes to the Eagles, and 3 to the Steelers.

Is it the pre-season, yes.

Is it cause for some alarm, yes.

This is the self-proclaimed "dream team". Roethlisberger raped that defense. It was very ugly.

If you look at other QB's at this point in the pre-season, at least ones considered the top of the QB pool, they performed at elite levels. Brady picked apart what was supposed to be a tough matchup against TB.

Also, you now have 12 games from last year of Vick to gameplay against. Last year, he had the advantage of there not being much game footage of him out there since his release from prison. That may also factor into this season.

Does Vick "suck". No.
Did his performance suck. Oh yeah, absolutely.
Is there reason for concern. If this happens again this pre-season, definitely.

Well, I guess if you are going to bring up the Lions as "proof" that the Eagles are going to be fine because the Lions did well a few years ago and the Eagles suck now, I should bring up that in 2003 the Pats went 4-0 in the preseason AND won the Superbowl.

How the hell did they pull that off? Didn't the Pats know that because of the PCH Law of Dumbass Logic that if you do well in the preseason, you must be a failure in the regular season?

How the hell did they mess that?

As far as the "stud muffins" on the Pittsburgh defense, well, I'll just let that comment speak for itself.

If the Iggles don't succeed this year, it will be for the same reason as it has for the past decade - coaching. They have had the players to win, but have been consistently undermined by coaching deficiencies in one way or another. Now they have a novice defense coordinator put in place by the head poobah Andy Reid. I hope it all works out but if not, then the organization needs to seriously look at the coaching staff.
