lol not a true story, of course..
So, with the 2nd pick in this nfl fantasy draft, I took Chris Johnson. I thought, there is no qb that's in need of being taken that high, maybe it's just my approach, we've been in the runningback era of fantasy for a while, but I think we're heading out of it.. I mean, how many people had Arian Foster in the nfl draft? lol he was a late round pick, if that... You never know about fantasy.. I wanted to get an electrifying runningback this year, one that just got paid top dollar, one that had an off season last year, but has bigger promise this year..One that has golds in his mouth, and dreads on his head.. I was in need of game breaker.. Chris Johnson isn't your physical back, but his speed is unmatched in the national football league, maybe I took a big gamble. but the profit over weighs the negative here.. It also helps I drafted Phillip Rivers after Chris Johnson, points regardless, points regardless my friends..
you have two options, tell YOUR second pick in YOUR draft, or buy or sell this issue..
thanks, and cheers to a good TD

Well I got lucky in my draft. I got the 3rd pick and think I walked away with a steal.
I'm assuming it's ok for me to argue my pick, since #2 and #3 are comparable, plus both our picks play the same position.
#1 in my pool went to Arian Foster. Sucks to be that guy right now, IMO. My draft was a week ago though, before more news came out against Foster's injury.
#2 was CJ in this pool. He hadn't agreed to the contract yet, so I thought this was a big gamble.
#3 was my pick. I would have picked this guy if I had the #1 or #2 pick.
I got Adrian Peterson.
1) Consistency
In the last 4 years, his lowest Yards total is 1298. He's had 1760 yards.
His lowest TD total is 10, his highest is 18.
94.8 Yards per game over his career
2) No Favre
AP is going to be the focal point of the offense again. More touches = more yards and more TD's.
3) Johnson layoff
Will CJ be rusty after a lazier than most off season? He didn't get as much preseason action was I'm sure he'd really like. It's possible that the first couple games will be fine tuning and he won't be on his "A" game. That means lower production and/or fewer touches.

Guys from work and guys from my softball team. As I said, the draft came before Foster's injury.
The Titans have Javon Ringer, who is now in his 3rd year. He has a similar style to CJ and could get more touches at the start of the season, so as not to put all the pressure on CJ right away. If he has some success, he might keep getting touches as the season goes on. Nothing major of course, as CJ is the man and WILL be the man. But the possibility is there.
Since 1997, the Titans have allowed the second-fewest sacks, with 28.3 per season. This will give Hasselbeck and easier time in the pocket than he had in Seattle. Even though he is another year older, I think Matt will have BETTER numbers than he did in Seattle. That means a bit of a stronger passing game..
The Titans are run heavy and they will be again this year... but perhaps not as much as in the past.
But AP and Vikes are also going to be run heavy, if not moreso than the Titans. AP also doesn't have to worry about rust or conditioning to start the year. They don't have Favre to waste possessions and their QB won't be taking touches away from AP.

All I can say is, while A.P. might not have been #1 in very few league's, he's the last person I thought I'd be arguing..
A.P. doesn't have the o-Line that the Titan's have.. I mean, why do you think Hasslebeck signed for 20 mill?
lol
With Garrard getting cut, and Peyton Manning getting derailed by the neck, I think this division the Titan's are on, isn't as hard as years' past..
CJ's schedule is a WHOLE lot easier, NFL NETWORK said, CJ will have the 2nd easiest schedules out of the back, outside Arian foster..

Rice is only good for 14 fantasy games as well.
No sense playing him in the 2 Steelers games.

Why are they in kindergarten if they picked Arian Foster and Chris Johnson over Adrian Peterson? Foster had a monster year last year and the run D in the division isn't great. Chris Johnson is amazing and can put up insane numbers.
