5th round pick from the Indianapolis Colts in 2003 Robert Mathis. he was the 138 player taken and consistantly a threat for opposing teams 10.5 sacks in 2004. 11.5 in 2005 and 9.5 in 2006 he is the best playing in my opinion to come out for the later rounds since 2001

Marques Colston, the best reciever on a team that went to the NFC championship last year, he was nearly mr. irrelevant last year and still had a pro bowl caliber season, and if the saindt get back on track he'll be a huge reason why
Mainevent7897 said 10/02, 08:44 PM
Granted, Colston did have a great year last year. he surprised a ton of team and he had joe horn on the opposite side attracting the teams top corners. now that he has the top corner backs from teams. he only has 185 yards threw 3 games and is averaging 13 yards less than he was last year...
slater0711 said 10/02, 08:47 PM
granted he's had a slow start, but reciever is the one position where your production completely depends on another palyer and brees has been absolutely terrible, so he hasnt had the right man to deliver the ball to him, as soon as brees gets back on track, which will happen hes too good for it not happen, colstons number will return to the elite level that they were at last year
Mainevent7897 said 10/02, 08:52 PM
Yes brees has been terrible... but in order to catch the ball or have it throw to you you must be Open. he did the same thing Peerless price did in 2002. Price had 1200 yards receiver and about as many TD's as colston when he was on the bills with Eric Moulds on the opposite side drawning the attention. when peerless wanted more money he went to the Falcons thinking he was a true number one.... that was false he could not get open the same with what will happen to colston is they dont get him help the opposite side

Report Offensive CommentYou couldv'e chosen T.J. or any other good reciever. You lose because you pick a guy who had one decent year. At least Mathis has been good for awhile now.
