Why is it that Merchant sits on his podium perch with his mic in hand and throw verbal assaults at all fighters throughout the years, instead of concentrating on the Boxing that's going on in the ring? He doesn't help the popularity of boxing AT ALL! Mayweather did right to finally have HIS say so on television about Merchant's character, as Merchant has chastized him THROUGHOUT HIS ENTIRE CAREER!

Oh poor Floyd being asked the question that everyone wanted him to answer. What does he do instead of answering the question on everyone's mind? He acts like a child. Something that he always does.
Larry isn't a punk for asking him about what happened in there, he was doing his job plain and simple. Floyd could have easily answered the question and taken the high road. What he did wasn't outside the rules. Did he do that? No he whined like a b@#$@ and walked away behaving like a child.
Floyd antics are horrible for the sport. He stays inactive far too long than comes in and picks a fight that anyone who understands boxing knows will be an easy fight for him. Trash talking is usually great for the sport but when Floyd does it he is childish. It is how a 12 year old bully acts. He isn't clever like Ali was or funny in the least.
With the skill Floyd possesses he should be bringing boxing to the masses instead he is turning fans away from the sport. He is taking a big old dump on everything that made him rich.

Can't see your clip but if its the time he pushed a fan back while he was interviewing I don't see that being all that bad. He was trying to do his job and shoved back a guy who was preventing him from doing it. You seem to be backing the behavior of idiots.
If you want to bring up passed incidents Floyd has far worse ones. He was convicted once already for battery on a former wife and has trial pending on a second incident where he beat his baby's momma and also threatened his children if they didn't stay put. The children have already gave a testimony to the police that this happened. Floyd has countless incident with the security of his gated community. He has been apart of violence where his body guards are kicking the crap out of people and has a long rap sheet. Floyd is not a good character at all.
Floyd could have made light of the situation during the interview and stated the facts. "The kid wasn't protecting himself and I took advantage". Instead he whined like a little girl not getting his way and stormed out of the ring.
Lots of people spent big money to see that fight and deserve an explanation of what he was thinking since he just wasted their money.

"Backing the behavior of idiots...."
Stop crying. Not only is Merchant a tool towards Floyd Mayweather, but he is towards any fighter in coinciding with public opinion.
When you're "able" to view video clips just look and listen what he says here about Mike Tyson, and tell me what at all does this have to do with boxing/comentating that he's paid to do.

We know both these guys are punks. The question is who is worse?
Larry's biggest offense is being a jerk in interviews and having biases when he announces.
Floyd's offenses range from the beating on women to being a pompous jerk to anyone he feels is beneath him to ducking challengers.
Floyd was convicted and plead guilty in 2002 two accounts of domestic violence and battery. In 2004 he was convicted again of battery for punching two women at a night club.
Floyd is everything we don't want in a champion. He doesn't take on all challengers and he stays inactive for years to only come out for easy fights. When Cotto and Margarito where on top he wanted nothing to do with them even though he would have been a favorite to beat either of them. Punk move.
Now with Pacquaio he changes his demands every time Manny says OK. Testing up to 14 days, Manny says alright, than it was 7 days and Manny said OK. These are punk moves.
Floyd also is always begging for attention. Look at me with all my toys. Punks behaves this way because they are insecure and no one does it more than Floyd.
The two don't even compare and its silly to say what Larry has done is even close.
