These Questions were put forth in the CBS Sports magazine for each team: I will answer the Q yes or No.
Q: Can the Cavs get back to the finals in 2008
Let me give you the main contenders in the East
Those are you top of the line leaving the Cavs in tier 2 with the
Heat and Nets
James is a monster- and should be for YEARS to come- but there is no robin to his Batman so to speak.
Larry Hughes is more his aquaman with the way he played in Cleveland.
Drew Gooden? What was that Monkeys name Gleek?
The Big Z is 32 and has been healthy for the last few years- but I'll take my chances betting against him going 15 and 10 next year
Sorry 'Bron- no Finals for you.
Bet he is still sending hate mail to Boozer in Utah.

I dont think we should act like there are only 4 teams that can contend for the East's finals bid. This isnt the West. Basically if an East team gets into the playoffs they have a chance to go to the Finals. The question was CAN the Cavs get back to the Finals in 2008. can they? Yes, like I said almost anyone in the East can catch fire like the Cavs did last year. Will they make the Finals? I doubt it but still I think they could.

The Cavs would be hard pressed to get past any of the Major players in the east- Last year Bron got by a heartless Piston Bunch - but this year they should be hungrier and both the Bulls and the Magic got a year more experience.
LeBron has no help and still very little chance of making the Finals. If any
