Predict the Ohio State Buckeyes regular season record

Sorry, Ohio State fans, but your team is in trouble. They are 3-0 vs Akron, Toledo, and Colorado, but 0-2 when they step up against better teams in Miami and Michigan State.
The Buckeyes have issues at the QB position. They are making the smart move by playing Braxton Miller, instead of Joe Bauserman, but Miller is very young and raw. Running is the best part of his game at this point in his young career. But, he struggled at home against the Spartans, running times for -27 yards.
They turned to Bauserman when Miller proved ineffective. He led them to their only TD in the closing seconds. Although, he completed just 7 of 14 passes for 87 yards.
The OSU defense isn't as good as it has been in years past. An athletic Miami team ran the ball 42 times for 240 yards and scored 24 points.
The Spartans weren't able to run the ball (31 carries for 71 yards), but Kirk Cousins completed 20 of 32 passes for 250 yards, 1 TD and 2 INT's.

The Buckeyes are in for a long season.
They lost a 10-7 game to Michigan State on Saturday at home. Now, they travel to #14 Nebraska with their 111th ranked passing offense and 91st ranked scoring offense. But, they are averaging just 6.5ppg against Miami (Florida) and the Spartans when they have stepped up in competition.
They follow this game @#19 Illinois and at home vs #4 Wisconsin

Penn State hasn't been playing like they did late last year and the Michigan vs. Ohio State rivalry game is always a toss up, I can see how they can go 7-5. Plus, they get back a few key players next week, so they should look a little better. Your thinking isn't too far off.

OSU vs Michigan is like picking Bears vs Packers. You never know what is going to happen no matter the record. I see them at 7-5. They are good enough to beat Penn State, and maybe even Illinois on the road.
