Chris Young, OF, D-backs

Young has power (73 homers over his past three Minor League seasons) and speed (82 steals during that same span). He's also expected to be Arizona's starting center fielder and has all the tools to be an outstanding one.

Your pick.

I am going to go with Colorado's shortstop sensation, Troy Trever Tulowitzki. TTT has everything going for him. He has decent power (24 HRs), average (.291), OBP (.359), and slugging (.454). Forget that he plays in Colorado, this guy gets it done.

In the field this year, TTT has only committed 11 errors, giving him a .987 fielding percentage, which is unbelievably solid for a rookie. (See Braun, Ryan: .895 field%).

Tulowitzki has produced for the Rockies. Besides the aforementioned stats, TTT has played in 155 games, scored 104 runs, has 177 hits, hit 33 doubles and 5 triples, and had 99 RBIs. His strikeout-to-walk ratio is not that good, at 130-57, but Young's (141-43) is not much better.

Troy Trever Tulowitzki has the brighest future out of the Rookie of the Year candidates.

Troy Tulowitzki. Very good, young player. Bright future.

Myabe even throw Ryan Braun and Bannister in the mix.

Not trying to be a homer but I would have to say Ryan Braun. He didn't even play the beginning of the season and he could win ROY. If he played the whole season it would be a no-brainer. I think Ryan Braun will succeed.

October 6, 2007  03:46 PM ET

How come neither of you guys have Ryan Braun? If he played the whole season he would have hit at least 40 homeruns. And also, he WILL get better at fielding
