even as a bears fan, I think you are way off base. In the last two weeks I have heard the bears in the late playoff discussion, as well as in the discussion for having the right formula to beat the packers. How does this equal underrated? I think if anything, due to the bears current win streak, they are a bit overrated.

Last season's double loss to the Packers in January still sticks to them like tar. For this reason they are not underrated. The jury is still out on them until they can prove anything in the playoffs

They appear to be overrated not under as left....well, said in the TD title and didn't say much else.

Anyone know if left related to Beefy Burritos???

Dan, this place is like arguing in front of the Supreme Court, come prepared to back up your point with facts,stats and other prudent info. Without them, you will get ridiculed for your homer opinion. Just saying.

Everything I read says they are one of the most feared teams in the NFL, and no team wants to face that defense right now. I think they're rated just fine.

I have heard the Bears could end up 12-4 or 11-5. That is not being underrated.

I would say a lot of fans underrate them. But all the major websites have them ranked about right.

I think the Bears are the biggest threat to the Packers.

49ers play a good style that could defeat them in the cold but I think that their young team that is inexperienced in the playoffs is a year away maybe two. They will challenge then next year. Not sure if they can keep up offensively enough either. Can they score 28 if needed?

Giants are probably next on my list after the Bears. I don't think their defense would slow down the Packers enough so they can keep up. They do have an affinity for the big play and can rush the Packers. I think the familiarity the Bears have with the Packers make them slightly more dangerous.

Everyone in the NFC South don't have the defense to slow the Packers down enough. It will be a shootout with the Saints but I still favor the Packers. Brees can make a mistake when he is playing catch up. The Falcons? Rodgers has their number.

Dallas if they get in and their offense finds its identity could be a cause for concern but Ware would need to have a monster game.

My fear is with the Bears. Their defense is playing great right now and their offense won't slow all that much in the Winter. Runs and Short passes to Forte won't be all that effected.
