If the Knicks get either Howard or Paul they would win the East....Amare Melo and Howard or Paul with Tony Douglas and Fields....Bibby and Shumpert who I beleive will be a good rook
Sure the Heat will be tough , and the Celtics to me are done...the age will show this year ...Bulls will be good too , but at the end of the day Melo Amare and Howard lololol are you kidding me....if they played together the way they could, which would happen once they started winning game after game.....they would put up numbers matching the top frontcourts in history ....Ok Melo Amare Paul same deal ....Melo and Amare would score more than you can imagine
I know it doesnt look like its going to happen , but if one of them came over to NY the East would be theres right away!!!
looks like Paul is going to LA Clips and Howard to the Nets or Bulls or Lakers...
I know this , the whole deal with NBA vetoing the origanal trade Paul to the Lakers was some shady paid off stuff ...that needs to be looked at...Stern messed that up big time....looks like to me Mark Cuban had something to with it thats for sure, but thats another TD

The League wouldn't approve the Lakers/Rockets offer or the Clippers offer. 2 excellent offers. What makes you think that NY can get CP? New Orleans is holding CP hostage in New Orleans. And NY doesn't have much to give up.
They just signed Tyson Chandler and overpaid to get him. They aren't turning around and trading him to Orlando for Howard (with some other pieces). The Magic would be foolish to trade him within the East where that move could come back and haunt them for years.
The Knicks are done with their major signings and that's okay. I hear they are still trying to get Crawford and that would be solid. That would give them a very good scorer.
Chauncey Billups was claimed by the Clippers. They are going to be just fine with their acquisition of Butler and Mr Big Shot. Now, they need to sign DeAndre Jordan if they want to trade Kaman or let him walk at the end of the season.

Well DJ I never said the Knicks were going to get him ....I said if they did they would have won the East....same with Howard.
but what I did say was that Paul was going to the Clippers ...and ummm I was right
you got to give this one to me bud, The Clippers have a good starting five, but thier bench is a bit weak, I hope Knicks get that third piece with a good point man

Over 72 hours to get an argument up, huh?
"but what I did say was that Paul was going to the Clippers ...and ummm I was right."
Only because David Stern blocked a better trade for CP (and I didn't particularly want him as a Laker).
The Clippers completely overpaid for a 2 year rental. Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Amin, and a draft pick. It was a horrible trade.
CP will not sign an extension (if Sterling offers him one) in Los Angeles. They just signed DeAndre Jordan to a contract worth almost 11 million per year. Griffin will be next in line in a few years.
Eric Gordon is the player they should have kept to pair with Griffin. They just claimed Chauncey Billups before they acquired Chris Paul. Now, they have 2 PG's capable of starting.

Im sorry but your wayyyy off bro....Clippers got a great deal, yeah I agree Lakers got screwed and I also said that in my first argument ...didnt I???
Chris Paul will get them wins and make them alot of money....he'll stay if they win and I think they will be good , not winning a championship right away but they will be contenders.
Billups actually said before he was picked up dont take me cuz I will doggg it for any team that takes me , which was actally crazy to hear from him , but he knows playing the 2 spot will benifit him cause his knees will start to go and not playing point will help that...he can focus more playing good D and spotting up three's.
If you wernt on this thing so much having your friends voting for ya , you would have no chance debating any sport topic with me DJ ...no way you should win this one niether , your veiw on the Paul trade and not really understanding my throwdown puzzles me I thought you were a vet on here kid

If Knicks get either!!!
This was the original topic, junior. Did you forget? They didn't get Howard or CP.
They are looking at Baron Davis and Michael Redd to fill out a rotation.
The Clippers gave up way too much for a guy that will form a nice 1-2 punch with Griffin for a few years and they will continue to be LA's 2nd team, the lowly Clippers.
"If you wernt on this thing so much having your friends voting for ya , you would have no chance debating any sport topic with me DJ ...no way you should win this one niether"
I think anybody that can read clearly would be able to vote for the better arguments. And they aren't yours.
Go create some dupes. But thanks for finally submitting an argument, rather than this being another never-ending TD.
