I am sticking with the Pack after Monday nights perfprmance with the Buffolo Bills Ranked 32 in passing defense. Sure Favre through 2 picks and there were a coupls of foolish fumbles aginst the Bears defense but tht is wht the bears are known for stripping the ball. Romo through 5 picks agaionst a weak buffolo secondary. I guess Romo isint as great as everyone saw him to be. Brett Favre is 37 years old and romo is 27 a ten year difference yet Brett Favre still has more passing yards and a better passer rating then Romo.

The Cowboys. You're basing that on Monday Nights performance? They were on the road on Monday Night, and a VERY PUMPED up home crowd. It was their first Monday night game in like 13 years. They played inspired football and gave the Cowboys a run for their money. Instead, let's look at how they each played Chicago. Dallas whipped on them 34-10, GB lost 20-27, forcing a game sealing INT thrown by Favre.

Okay if u wanna look at that giants scored 35 points on the Cowboys they scored 14 on the packers Packers defense is better Packers scored 35 on the Giants Cowboys scored 45 on them so offense goes to Giants. But if the Bills can pick off Romo 5 times why cant the packers the packer have a way better secondary then the bills do and a better d-line i am excpecting Pressure on romo all day
CaptainObvious* BS said 10/10, 10:24 AM
But they both still beat the Giants. The Packers didn't beat the Bears. Just because he threw 5 INT's against the Bills isn't conclusive that he would do it against the Pack. GB does have an improved defense, but you're selling the Bills defense short. Don't put too much stock in team stats so early in the season. One bad game can skew the numbers. By that argument, Dallas has the 12th ranked pass defense while Chicago has the 26th.

So wht u r telling me is that since the boys have a better defense then the pack is going to throw more picks. Wel if tht is the case the pack has a better d then the bills so the boys are going to throw more picks against the packs then they did against the bills okay u ruined your own argument there. But what really surpises me is that all teams have had to do is stop the pass to beat the packers and not a single team has been able to do tht the bearscouldnt stop the pass alls they did was strip the ball
CaptainObvious* BS said 10/10, 12:43 PM
No, what I am saying is BASED ON YOUR ARGUMENT, the Cowboys will get more turnovers because they have better stats that the Bears. Favre is a better QB than Romo, but the Cowboys have a better running game, better WR's, and their defense is getting healthy with Newman and Ellis back. You've based your entire argument on Monday night, which games like that happen. You're not taking into account that THEY WON THE GAME. You're failing to give credit where credit is due.

btw, Favre has like 20 more passing yards, and a rating of 94.7 while Romo has a 93.9.

Report Offensive CommentBesides, they play on week 13. He's just making a prediction based on Monday Night's game.

Report Offensive CommentIs this who will win in now, or who will win in week 13? Not sure that it makes a lot of difference, but it might.

PackersMan is the man! | 10/10/07, 10:22 AM
Report Offensive CommentI'll have to finish my second argument here. Since Dallas has a better pass defense than Chicago, Favre will turn the ball over more against Dallas.
CaptainObvious* BS | 10/10/07, 10:25 AM
Report Offensive CommentThe difference between these two teams is that the Pack would have come home from Buffalo with a loss and the Cowboys find a way to win when they are not playing their best(something the Pack couldnt do against the Bears). First vote to El Capitan.

Report Offensive CommentNo defense huh? Holding Chicago to 10 points while the Pack allowed 27. Good argument there genius.

Report Offensive CommentLast time I checked, the Cowboys pass defense is ranked 12th while GB is ranked 23. Cowboys rush defense is ranked 7th while GB is ranked 14th. Dallas has 10 INT's while GB has 5. Got anything else?

Report Offensive Commentthe boys only gave up three points to Buff. on offense I think...thats pretty stout, their defense is very good.....

Report Offensive Commentthanks bubba, although it looks like a lot of Packer homers have been voting, and not based on the arguments.
CaptainObvious* BS | 10/10/07, 11:19 AM
Report Offensive CommentLOL yea, but I really want the pack to be the better team, second only to my lions :P But my lions fantasy will have to wait for a couple years I think, so teh defense can cacth up to the offense.
