49ers OVER Giants: The Giants are the hotter team right now, but I still like the 49ers to win. They have the #1 run defense in the league, Bradshaw and Jacobs will be shut down.

The Giants have a very good passing attack and the 49ers dont have a great pass defense. That is the only way the Giants will score. They will for sure score, but there was one thing I noticed about the GB-NYG game. Eli had all day to throw. This will not be the case against the 49ers pass rush.

The Giants have a better offense, but the 49ers showed they have a strong offense as well. Smith is a reliable QB who doesnt turn the ball over, and he has one of the top TE's in Vernon Davis. Gore is a very good RB.

49ers 27 Giants 21

Patriots OVER Ravens: High powered offense VS Great defense. The difference in this game will be whether Baltimore can score. I dont think they can.

I believe the Pats will get off to a quick start. They will pressure Flacco to throw, and he will have a rough game, even against that pass defense. The Ravens Defense will keep them close but they dont have the offense to compete point for point with the Pats.

Patriots 21 Ravens 16

Giants and Ravens.

Oh Beefy Burritos

What will the Ravens need to do to win? You didnt answer and I will for you. Flacco needs to have a big game, and they need him to start out fast. Will that happen? NO. Brady gets off to a hot start, Ravens rely on Flacco and he doesnt get job done

How will the Giants win? Ill tell yah, if they give Eli time to throw like the Packers did but this time, against the SF pass rush. Will that happen, I doubt it.

Good job

Your character-counting skills are amazing.

Good job.

Your arguing the TD skills are amazing.

Good job.

I like to think so, but thanks.

I think the Niners-Giants game is going to be low scoring. A nail biter. And I think that the Ravens pull out the win at New England. The Ravens aren't going to let the Gronk run around freely like the Broncos did. Brady will be on his back half the game.

That would be nice. Flacco needs to have a better day too and hopefully Ray Rice has better production.

The problem is that if you contain Gronk, then you still have to deal with Hernandez and Welker...

I think the Raven's D can handle it. They're not a bad bunch. Never underestimate the power of Ed Reed.

Beefy Burritos, argue our other TD while ur at it

Reed is injured. Even if he plays it's not known how effective he'll be. He's also not performed to expectations this year.

Did you not see him yesterday? Whenever he made a play, he was in pain.

You can't stop Gronk and Welker. Only one or the other

Baltimore struggled against Houston. They had a 3rd string QB with 3 INT's still in a position to tie the game on the last play.

Oh, that game was in Baltimore.

Sorry, I wasn't impressed.

January 16, 2012  07:49 PM ET

Go Niners.

QUOTE(#17):

Same. Houston basically gave them 14 points in the 1st qtr. Ravens had like 3 points the rest of the way and did nothing on offense. I know Houston has a pretty good defense, but still that was a pathetic Baltimore offensive performance. If they think they can go to Foxboro and win like they, then they will get their doors blown off. You know NE will score over 30, I just can't see Baltimore keeping up.

They may not have done much on offense, but I would take Houston's defense over the Pats Defense by a lot. Ravens wont go crazy on the Pats but dont expect the Pats to shut them out
