I give Tebow 2 years..
Elway does not like him..
"starter going into training camp"
Johnny wants a pure pocket passer..
He does not want a michael vick wanna be runner..
Tebow will always beat up the bad teams..
But he wont make a dent against the good teams..
He ONLY beat Pitt, cause Big Ben had a busted ankle.. It was not the same Steelers team..
Yeah, Tebow was 7-4, not too shabby..
But without all the miracles..
Miami, fluke win..
KC, 2 completions?!?!? ultra fluke
CHargers. Vikes, bears.. fluke fluke fluke!
Lets face it, apart from the Oakland win, Tebow could have been 1-10..
Thats probably too harsh..
So lets split the 6 fluke wins.. And all of a sudden Tebow, instead of being 7-4, is 4-7..
ahaardly the stuff of legends..
Tiny tim, will have a hard time being a .500 QB..
I am sure there is alot of interest in a QB that is .500..
But being realistic, that is not good enough for Elway;..
For better or worse.. Players that were LEGENDS, when they become coaches or general managers or owners or whatever the heck elway is, they become perfectionists..
Mediocre/Tebow, simply will not do..
