Top 3 NBA players today

Kobe, despite all critics, is one of the best, able to carry that limited team alone, proven winner and proven scorer, future hall of fame.
L James, did last year similar what Wade did the year before, except he went further, bringing up talks of jordan-like moments and comparisons ofhis many abilities, making him one of, if not the best.
Of course in their champioship season they had big contribuitions from shaq and other players, but the main reason the Heat did what they did was because of DWade and if we all remember what he did, even last year, the heat made the playoffs thanks to him....he is coming back from surgery but a healthy Wade is clearly in the top three.

TOP 3 ( not necessarily in this order)
KOBE, JAMES, WADE

to disagree you have to have atleast one different

Tim Duncan. He has won 4 titles with essentially 3 different teams. Robinson, Avery Johnso and Sean Elliot left and he's still won. They've surrounded him with different role players, and he gets the job done year after year. On both ends of the court.
James, singlehandedly carried the Cavs to the playoffs and into the Finals. Great player who is only going to get better.
DWade, took the Heat into the championship a couple of years ago. Great young player who will come back from surgery

Duncan certainly would be in a top 5 list, but a crunch time game who literally takes over... the more proven scorer is Kobe, 31.6 pts per game while 20 pts per game for Duncan last year .....even on defense all be it Duncan has more size more rebounds (but wasnt ranked in the top 5 rebounders last year) and block average, but Kobe is a very good defender averaging 1.4 steals per game..... Kobe won 3 titles was elected to every All-NBA Team from 1999 on and featured in the last nine NBA All-Star games

Not taking anything away from Kobe, great player, but the fact remains when Shaq left, the Lakers fell apart, even missing the playoffs before Jackson came back. Duncan has won 2 more titles after Robinson left. The Spurs do have a better team, but Duncan is not surrounded by any GREAT HOF type players, yet still wins. He gets it done when it counts. In the playoffs and the championships.

but isnt that more merit of the spurs organization....they fill up holes in their bench efficiently and intelligently always putting role players, but nonetheless quality players around duncan...unlike the lakers organization, kobe is alone, with not much help than lamar odom level..if kobe and duncan switched the team would have similar net results. duncan alone wouldnt be able to fix the lakers, but kobe would keep the spurs a strong contender...the main question in WHO MAKES A BIGGER IMPACT? kobe

No way, Duncan makes the bigger impact, by winning champioships. You can't deny his presense throughout the playoffs. He plays amazing defense, scores when he has to, and is a great team leader. Kobe alienates his teammates at times, as well as the coaching staff. Kobe is a distraction at times, which hurts team chemistry.

D A M N i just clicked on it !!! I guess Capt is faster than me

What happened to Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitski, Elton Brand,?

Report Offensive Comment

I almost put Nash in there. In fact, after I submitted it, I realized I should have put him in instead of Wade, since Wade was hurt last year and we don't know what affects that may have.

Report Offensive Comment

nash is surrounded by good players and yet they always fall short....what to say of wade then?

Report Offensive Comment

i agree there is discussion about duncan....but nash until he puts a ring in his hand will always be a step below he is not in the same level as a wade or james in dominating and taking over a game
