we are essentially talking about the best fastball specialists.. In their prime
2. ZUMAYA, big dude with red eye
3. Benitez.. Dude was suspect, but boy could he throw hard
4. Fat boy Jenks
6. Lindstrom.. Oh why marlins did you get rid of this guy?!?! He packs so much heat!
10. Farnsworth.. Dude was nasty
12. Jimenez.. Not bad for a skinny dude.. Hope he gets his mojo back with indians
13. Mesa, old school.. He still breakS Indians hearts..
26. thee thee
What flame throwers do you like the most?

Chapman #1 man? come on dude!
Guys from the 80's and 90's weren't gonna hit 105 like players today. Times are different, and that don't mean a guy like Chapman has a better fastball than a guy from back then.
1. The Unit
4. Walter Johnson
10. Billy Wagner
The last 10 you can pick any 10 left over from your list, as they really don't matter.

You like location..
i like raw heat..
my guyz pack more punch..
yours are fancy finesse girls..
if I want super heat,
give me lindstrom over gibson ANYDAY!
now where you going to go!

Like real estate it's all about location, location, location.
Other than Nolan Ryan, my guys actually knew how to use the fastball. Most of ur guys just lined up and let it rip. It's great that they threw 100 miles an hour, but if they can't find the strike zone, what good is their fastball?
Ur "best" fastball pitcher hasn't even won 20 games total in the majors. Your 2nd best guy has been injured a few times and has never been considered a top pitcher in the league. U have to go all the way to your #5 and pitcher before we find anyone worth arguing about.
Lindstrom over Gibson? A fastball pitching Hall of Famer wasn't as good with his fast ball as some random right now? dude!

its bottom of the ninth.. Game 7, world series..
2 strikes, 2 outs..
at the plate is a guy that is hopeless at hittin a 100mph fastball..
You are damn right im calling lindstrom..
and im tellin gibson to chill like champagne on ice..
gibson never threw over 100mph..
but all my guys did..
you have to play the percentages..
there is a reason why 100mph flamethrowers are in high demand..
if you can throw 100mph strikes.. You can stencil in a solid career in the majors..

Bottom of 9th, 2 strikes and 2 outs.
Ur gonna put in Chapman, Zumaya, Burnett, etc... before guys like Clemens or Sabathia? That doesn't even make any sense.
If ur gonna just pick guys with the fastest pitches, why bother making a TD list? Just go to a website that lists pitchers by the fastest pitch and there you go. Ur not considering careers, wins, K's, legacies, years pitched, ERA, etc...
Ur only considering the speed of the pitch. That doesn't make someone a better pitcher. I don't give a rats behind if Gibson never threw over 100 mph, he's still a better fastball pitcher than Chapman, Zumaya, etc... They might throw a bit harder, but they are not a better pitcher.
