I will apologise to DJ..
I called him a crazy horse for saying Peyton should go to 49ers..
It came down to 49ers, Broncos and Titans..
If Peyton was serious about winning a SB, he should have gone to 49ers..
The 49ers were the best play off team last year..
If it wasnt for that idiot punt returner, they would have beat the GMEN, and then crushed my loved LOVED Pats..
Plus they got to that position with plain jane alex smith..
with dynamic Manning, they would have been the greatest show on earth!
We are talking about better than the mighty all blacks in rugby!
Look, I know he is a football player, maybe got hit in the head one to many times and didnt go to college in Boston..
But this guy is a freakin idiot!!! ha ha..
The 49ers are the blonde 6ft super model in skin tight leather pants..
And he chose the fat chick, with suspect side burns, after his 8th pint of vodka..
Thats the only thing that would make sense..
Peyton was completely wasted, when he decided to join the Broncos..
Come on! Everyone would have been PETRIFIED if Peyton put on the 49ers..
And I know he would have got AT LEAST 1 ring..

"If Peyton was serious about winning a SB, he should have gone to 49ers.."
He got 90 million dollars over 5 years. And he is going to a team that made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs with Tim FREAKING [I]Tebow.
Assuming Manning is just 75-80% of the player he used to be? The Broncos are serious Super Bowl contenders. They have a solid defense and weapons on offense for Manning to play with in Eric Decker and Demaryious Thomas. And now they might be interested in FA WR Mike Wallace and RB Jonathan Stewart?
Um, okay. This would be a seriously stacked team and instant contenders.
"If it wasnt for that idiot punt returner, they would have beat the GMEN, and then crushed my loved LOVED Pats.."
The 49ers matched up better with the Giants than the Patriots. IF SF had managed to beat the Giants, I think the Patriots would have defeated the 49ers.
Better coaching and better players.
He made the right decision. If he had gone to the 49ers he would have been competing against Eli in order to make it to the Super Bowl. Keep it all kosher in the family and the only way they play against each other is in the SB.

I'll break this down as simple as possible..
Peyton goes to the 49ers.. And they become a mega heavy weight..
49ers defence is scary, and with Gore as their RB, they would have had the most complete team in all of football..
Peyton goes to Denver.. And now they become a cute team..
Their defense, at times is great, but no one will forget how their defense collapsed against the Pats.. Hardly the stuff of legends..
Also McGahee is getting old.. He over performed last year.. It would not surprise me if he has a down year..
While I do agree with you on your "Peyton does not want to knock out his bro till the SB" theory.. That unfortunately, is Peyton's ultimate undoing, in that he is too noice of a guy.. And we all know what happens to noice guys in prison? They finish last in the showers:)
AS FOR MY 2ND FAVOURITE TEAM?
GERRARD??? REALLY?? REALLY??
This reeks of the time they passed on Brees, and went all in on a bummed Culpepper..
This team has made so many bad GM decisions.. Its a freakin joke..
What the heck is Gerrard going to do? urrggg!!!

No doubt SF would have been an excellent team with Manning, but they play in the NFC.
I have no doubt at all this played into his decision to go to Denver.
And I think he made the right decision. No need to steal Eli's Thunder. The only way they play in the postseason now is if they meet in the Super Bowl.
The Broncos were something lik 40 million under the cap before they signed Manning. They still have about 20 million to make some upgrades if they decide to. Or they can address the defense with the upcoming 2012 NFL draft.
The bottom line is they got a much better QB in Manning and the traditional pocket passing QB Elway seems to covet.
Prison? What the Hell does that have to do with this TD, HCF? Projecting past experiences here on us?
Garrard is a capable starter who sat out last year because of an injury. A healthy Garrard gives Miami an upgrade over Matt Moore who has been a backup throughout his career.

Manning is a control freak..
He wanted to go to the team, that would give him the most power, Denver..
If he were more humble, he would have gone to the 49ers..
If he were serious about adding ring/rings to his fingers, he would have gone to the 49ers..
As a Pats fan, its safe to say, we have Denver's number..
Yes, the NFC is deeper, but Peyton would have made them the clear number one team in the NFC.. Green Bay and saints defence sucks.. Gmen have always been too schizo to be considered a legitimate powerhouse..
While Peyton is extremely talented.. This was the first time in his life where he actually had to make a decision by himself, off field, (his daddy probably chose what college he went to)..
Peyton failed miserably.. He went to the wrong team.. He will not win a SB with the Broncos..
He is just not a good decision maker..
Also, his unselfishness of not wanting to knock out his bro before SB, will come back to haunt him.. Sometimes in life, you have to know when to break the rules, or you wind up last in the showers
Interesting out take on Gerrard.. But the back surgery, really scares me..
Seems like Gerrard relies on his speed, more than alot of QBs..

The clear favorite?
Get out. They would be an improved team, but I don't think you would be able to just pencil them in as the NFC representative in the SB.
The Packers will be wanting to come back and prove this past postseason was a fluke.
The Giants are going to be a team that has to be dealt with since the Manning in THe Big Apple has gone from Bad Eli to Elite Eli.
"Peyton failed miserably.. He went to the wrong team.. He will not win a SB with the Broncos."
No, he may not. You're right there.
But, let me point out some interesting numbers to you:
9 of 26 for 136 yards, 0 TD's, 0 INT's with a 52.7 Passer Rating.
I have no doubt in my mind Manning could post better numbers than what Tim Tebow did against the Pats.
