Brock vs the Rock, next WrestleMania?

who you got?

I'll say this, the popular pick would be the Rock. But given the circumstances, the Rock signing a new 1 year contract supposedly, and big Brock doing the same, I have Brock winning at "Mania". I have a good feeling Brock will stay longer than his 1 year contract, since he did just retire from the UFC in December. I feel like the Rock just came back to Main Event Mania in Miami, and to knock off the thugged out, 2012 version of Hulk Hogan.

Brock and the Rock's contract run up about the same time, and I think Brock will stay, with that in mind, i think the writer or script care giverhaha will favor Brock's favor. Brock is not as popular as the Rock, or is he?

Brock has huge appeal, and was Dana's ace in the pay per view buys.

The Rock's run has to come to an end sometime, Brock's, might just be a little longer.

Cena interfers in the Rock & Lesnar's match, F-5 takes off. Do you smell what Pch is cook'n?

Sorry, BUT I don't smell what PCH is cook'n, at least not this time!!!

How about Brock vs. Undertaker at Mania next year. Who better to end Taker's streak than the former Mr "Next Big Thing"? Bring back Heyman to take Undertaker's side and you turn up the heat that much more. Former manager and best friend of Brock's returning to WWE and then turning his back on him to assist Taker would be GOLD I tell ya!

Since I believe that Brock will have one of the heavywight titles by Mania (probably well before), it could be title vs. career. Taker wanting one last run with the title puts his career on the line to get a title shot from Brock. Making this the ultimate passing the torch match.

If WWE wanted to drag this out they could have Taker win and put off the rematch until next Mania (this will probably never, EVER happen). Of course, that would require Taker to stick around more than a month and a half each year so this is very highly unlikely!!!

Taker/Brock would put way more buts in seats than Rock/Brock and cause a ton more PPV buys. Hell, I would even shell out the $65+tax to see Taker/Brock!

GOOD LUCK PCH! You're gonna need it!!!

I will not luck, hahahhahhaa..

You think BrOCK VS TAKER will sell more seats than the Rock vs Brock?

bullsway..

lmao

get real..

taker's done..

taker just fights at wrestlemania's now..

well atleast that's all i've know the last two years..

The Rocks still got it, and is involved in the scripting for another wwe title run. It's only fitting that the UFC/NFL, and former WWE freak gets a shot.

Lets undermind the whole orchestration with taker at a ufc event, some time back. Brock's gunning for the top of the plataeu again. With Brock being such a buy for Dana, you can only suspect Brock's in the MAIN EVENT, not co-Main EVent @ next year's "mania"..

Brock was breaking rings last i saw him. Dont forget his unforgettable match with the Big Show, on Smackdown..

Taker's a legend, but he's not that great at all in the ring. I would have to say his last two performances were subpar compared to the two infamous "mania" battles he had with Michaels. Lets be real, Cena will probably moved to smackdown and reign supreme, give Rock and the Brock lol, your full attention. I"m sure Vince is .. $$$$

who needs luck?
it me be you captain planet

What has Brock's return ment to WWE so far? Not much! Ratings have stayed the same since Mania. Last week's Raw did a 3.1 the same as the Raw after Mania!!! And, just where is the Rock? He was MIA last week and Cena already said in a Promo that Rock's gone again! So what's the WWE to do?

Can you really count on the Rock and Brock to be around by Mania next year? Brock's deal is up right around Mania time and as for the Rock, who knows for sure if he'll still be around? If both are leaving it would make more sense for them to put over someone on the way out. The same goes for Taker if he's retiring. The WWE could put him in the HOF and have his last match the next day at Mania, ala Ric Flair. Taker loses and rides off into the sunset to join Shawn Michaels and Edge on the couch at home. It wouldn't hurt the Taker at all to lose his last match at Mania after going into the HOF. Plus the taker is known as an old school type of guy and old schools says you put someone over on your way out.

So I'll go with: Brock fighting Cena for the title. Undertaker v. 'Great White' Shamus. And, Rock v. CM Punk.

'Beat me if YOU can, Survive IF I let you' - Tazz (EC Fn' W)!!!!!!

The Rock and Brock Lesnar have signed exclusive contracts. In those contracts they only have to show up a number of appearances. Rock didnt' wrestle but ONE TIME in the year leading up to the Cena bang'ER.. So I don't understand your logic on Brock and the Rock not being available for Mania.... ahahah what a crock of poop..

Brock hasn't spiked the ratings, because he only runs in and runs out. Nobody knew Brock was coming back a couple weeks back, except the peeps that check out mma and wwe rumor mill pages..

The Undertaker might be Vince's best acquasition, and his biggest road dog, but he's not got the reaper spirit anymore. IF anything, taker looks like he's picked up a bad habit of ciggarettes, he loses wind 5 minutes into a match.

Was the Taker vs Triple match good?

my answer: YES

but i've seen way more from the taker, and at this point, he shouldn't even worry about his undefeated streak, and ride off in the purple harley.

Brock vs the Rock 2 Can you smell what wrestlemania's cookn?

Another reason i think Brock vs the Rock would make more sense, both will be in the title picture, if not have a title by next "mania"..

If Brock and Rock don't sign extensions to their 1-year deals, which run out around Mania 29 next year (7 Apr) then WWE would be crazy to put either of them in the main event let alone make THEM the main event. Also, Rock is so exclusive to WWE that it was annouced today he will Exec Produce and appear in "various incarnations" to encourage contestants in a new reality show called 'The Hero', a competition to find the 'next great hero'. So if the Rock gets a offer to do something more lucrative or that is higher visability (not hard given Raw's ratings lately), he's gone again in a heartbeat. Brock has a good chance of sticking around longer than a year BUT he's left before and if WWE wants to push him out of THE top spot again, who knows if he'll stick it out this time.

Brock was gone from WWE for 7 years and only there a short time to begin with. Given WWE's recent family friendly stance and lower ratings (bad storylines) a lot of fans who remember Brock are long gone and he didn't bring them back. Plus so far, it looks like his MMA fans didn't follow him to WWE. All this = no ratings spike!!

People are already looking for reasons why losing via Peoples Elbow can be blamed on diverticulitis.

I don't see this happening b/c Brook will have one of the heavyweight titles at Mania next year and I don't see the Rock wrestleing Brock for a title if he's leaving again.

I gotta go with Pch on this. Rock just said that he's got a title in his sights, probably Seamus'. Give Brock the other title and make it a winner takes all event. Don't know if WWE would put all their eggs in one basket though. I could see Cena being the spoiler in this main event though, especially since Rock did the same to him a while back against Miz. Maybe a Triple Threat?

Brock Lesnar doesn't deserve to beat the Undertaker at WM. WWE put all their marketing behind Brock and made him a huge star. He turned around and crapped on them. I hope they are a little more cautious this time and don't have him destroy EVERYONE and then turn around and quit before elevating others.

If someone is going to beat the Undertaker at WM, it should be someone who is an established big star, but still relatively young so that they can get the full benefit of doing something so big. Yet it should still be someone who has worked hard, earned it, and deserves it. Brock doesn't deserve it. He doesn't even like pro wrestling.

WWE has proven time and time again that they (Vince) never learn from their past mistakes.

Sad, but true!!! 8^)

Rumored main events for WM29... Brock Lesnar vs the Rock for the WWE Title. CM Punk vs Stone Cold and... The Undertaker vs Cena! Brock wins easily.
