1) Dion Phaneuf...
he only fights small guys and plays for the Leafs
2) Alex Rodriguez..
He is a juice monkey who caused this insane Salary inflation in baseball
3) Carson Palmer..
He retired because he didn't want to honour his contract and got traded
4) Lebron James..
Left Cleveland promised 7 NBA championships and looks like a suck
5) Serena Williams/ Andy Roddick...
Both whine and throw temper tantrums.
6) Brady Hoke...
Simply because I hate Michigan
7) Dwayne Wade/ Ray Allen...
Millionaires who claim they should be paid to play at an Amateur competition
8) Shea Weber....
His blatant attempt at injuring HEnrik Zetterberg after the game
9) Yu Darvish....
Anybody who commands 50 million just to talk to I would love to see get knocked around.
10) Rex Ryan....
Just a loud mouth who would never shut up if they ever win

I thought about Kobe Bryant, but since you already had him I chose Lebron. I don't know anything about Soccer so I have no comment on Tevez.
I strongly disagree with your pick on Verlander being the number 1. To me he was the clear pick at the Cy young and MVP. Nobody had a bigger impact on their team ( that went to the playoffs) then him.
I understand why Francona wouldn't go to the anniversary because he didn't leave on his own terms. If my company fired me I would never go back there to celebrate.
I was going to throw in the Vancouver Canucks as an association because I don't think they deserve a Championship because of their fans brutal behaviour last year. Since you said guy and yes Serena Williams counts I didn't put them in.
I do like the rest of your list though.

Verlanders year pales in comparison to the great pedro 99..
pedros was more than .40 era, less than verlander..
and it was in the heart of the steroid era..
If the voters are not going to be consistent,
then they will piss people off..
ellsbury should have won..
dude, this is the boston red sox.. Not some sucky sales company..
plus the after party is going to be hard core, count me in..
the reasons why francona got fired were legit..
he lost control over his team..
plays for man city, a top club in england..
for no decent reason, he goes to argentina for 5 months..
he deserted his team..

I am not going to sit here and disagree with you about Pedro deserving the MVP as I do believe he deserved it over Rodriguez. However I do believe Verlander deserved his MVP as the tigers would have been nowhere near as good without him as Boston would have been without Ellsbury.
I understand the difference between a sucky sales company and the Red Sox, however as I stated I completely understand why he wouldn't go and be a part of it. He didn't leave on his own terms, the organization told him he was leaving. I have actually enjoyed Francona as an announcer and I do not want to see him fail. There are plenty other people I would rather see fail ahead of him.
Thanks for the update on Tevez, I have never heard of him.
