BUY BUY BUY
Rondo.. dude should have won the real MVP award..
No one is more valuable to their team than Rondo..
Isnt that what an MVP award is?
Sell Celts..
Too old.. Too reliant on one person..
This ship is going down fast..
The Perkins trade killed them..
Buy
Thunder.. Is there any doubt that these dudes will win the title?
They are currently putting the Lakers in a body bag..
Sell
World peace.. Too much of a liability..
Buy
New York as being the third best team in the east next year..
another year to gel, in a weak conference..
Plus whats not to like about carmelos 41 points the other day..
Its a team on the rise..
SELL
Lakers..
oh kobe bryant really put his foot in his mouth, when he said that the lakers were championship material.. yeah, championship material east of my house!
BUY
Grizzlies.. I dont think they will ever be championship material..
But they will make life difficult, for any playoff team for the next couple of years..
Sell
Chris Paul has to bolt from the freakin clippers..
Its like that russian internet bride, marrying the first person she meets in the states, so she can get the green card

My BUY: San Antonio Spurs
There is no team in the NBA that is hotter right now then the Spurs. 18-2 in their last 20 games. They are 5-0 in the playoffs right now with an average margin of victory of 16 points. Also they are the deepest team in the league and the fact that they swept the first round and are winning by such a large margin is only keeping older guys like Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker fresh. Which in my opinion makes them the favorites in not on the West but the entire playoffs.
My Sell: Lakers
Last night was the nail in the coffin for the Lakers. They had a chance to even the series before heading home and they blew it. After a grueling 7 game series against the Nuggets this team of veterans won't last long against a much younger, more athletic, and more rested team like Oklahoma City.
How can you sell Boston? They are up 2-1 right now in their series after winning in Philly last night by 16 points. With Chris Bosh out I think this opened the door for Boston to make a serious run. I agree they are old and this may be their last shot as a group to win but there is no way you can sell them when they are 2 games from the Eastern Finals.

ok.. We are both selling Lakers, imaginary high five!
Im not buying the spurs..
ND
I DONT LIKE PEOPLE THAT BUY THE SPURS!!!!!!!! HA HA..
They are a cute team, that beats up on the wounded and the weak..
Do you really really think the Spurs have a chance vs thunder..
Thunder are steam rolling EVERYONE at the moment..
Spurs road has been way easier.. Clippers are kind of over rated anyway.. or mediocre.. what ever you want to call them, the Clippers are not nasty.. The Grizzlies would have given the Spurs a real battle, but not the clippers..
I mean, HELLO, (Sorry to go valley girl on you), but what is so great about sweeping a bunch of dwaynew dweeblies from Utah?
I stand by my decision to sell the Celts..
They will get crucified against the Heat..
Not sure why all the sports reporters are jumping on the boston bandwagon again..
If I had to guess, the media is just looking for a story..
Take out Rondo, and this team does not even make the play offs..
Its too one dimensional for me..
Heat can kill you in a 1000 ways.. I like their multiple attacking options..

The Spurs beat up on the wounded and weak?
2-1 vs Thunder
2-1 vs Lakers
3-1 vs Clippers
4-0 vs Memphis
2-1 vs Nuggets
2-2 vs Dallas
7-1 vs Jazz
So against the 7 other Western Conference teams the Spurs are 22-7 with a winning record against Oklahoma City.
Like I said you can't sell on the Celtics just yet for the reasons I said and for what you said in your first argument
"Rondo.. dude should have won the real MVP award..
No one is more valuable to their team than Rondo..
Isnt that what an MVP award is?"
Hard to sell a team that is 2 games away from the Eastern Conference finals and the team that is led by who you believe is the league MVP, Rondo.
Yeah the Miami heat have 2 of the best players in the league but without Chris Bosh they are incredibly bad in the paint. IF they get past Indiana, who on Miami is going to cover Kevin Garnett?
Now I'll go on record and say I still think the finals will be Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs.
BUT I wouldn't be shocked to see Boston beat Miami IF Chris Bosh is out.

noice record list of the Spurs..
BUT
That was the regular season..
NBA, is probably the most famous for low intensity in the regular season,
and then the Big boy BRING IT ON, during the playoffs..
I never liked utah, they were just making up the number..
I never liked the Clippers, y7eah they make alot of highlight reels.. But here is the real dirty secret of the clippers, their bench sucks!
So realistically, the Spurs road to the western conference was cake..
IF
Perkins is healthy, Duncan will be very easy to contain..
Durant and westbrook are not only the future, but they are the present..
Durant himself, said the only team he fears are the lakers..
Yeah, I know Rondo is a fasntastic playa!
BUT
One great playa/assister, does not make a team..
I dont know how we found Rondo, when we were soooo caught up in getting the Big Three..
But we did, and now we have something to build a team around, for at least 10 years:)
I guess I have higher standards than you..
You see a Celts 2 games from the E.Finals..
I see a team rotting from the inside..
The Celts are dying..
And if Bosh is healthy, it will be a joke!

"the Big boy BRING IT ON, during the playoffs.."
Spurs are 5-0 winning by an average of 16 points
"the Spurs road to the western conference was cake.."
Which means they will be well rested when it's time to play Oklahoma City
"Perkins is healthy, Duncan will be very easy to contain"
Actually it's the other way around. Duncan has contained Perkins pretty easily
In 3 games against each other this year
Perkins
1-4 2 points 6 rebounds 3 fouls (20 minutes)
0-1 0 points 3 rebounds 3 fouls (21 minutes)
0-2 0 points 1 rebound 4 fouls (16 minutes)
So Perkins average stat line in 3 games against Tim Duncan this season
0.7 points
3 rebounds
3 fouls
in 19 minutes
"Durant himself, said the only team he fears are the lakers"
Durant is kidding himself if he truly believes that.
Thunder were 2-1 vs the Lakers in the regular season
1-2 vs the Spurs in the regular season.
Good TD
Guess we will have to wait and see next week who is the best in the west.

It's probably because first they avoided Derrick Rose and the Bulls and the Heat are not looking as strong as they should. So really anyone who dislikes the Heat are pulling for Boston or Indiana to beat them. Out of those two Boston is probably the better bet.

Have to disagree. The Pacers didn't have a healthy Danny Granger in a couple of their regular season match-ups. People say you can't teach length and the Pacers have that in abundance. They also have a young legit Center that knows his role. Add the Bosh injury, the better & younger bench, the Zone Defense, the Pacers have a good enough formula to beat not only the Heat but also the Celtics on any given night.
Barring any injuries, give the title to the Western Conference once again.
