Thunder.

I just wanted to bust a frizzzzy frizzy free style..

Man, Timmy boi, o Timmy Boi, o Timmy boi, don't play. The most underated man forever and ever like land stands, or garbage fields, Spurs got ring worm, Thunders got bannana peels.

No this aint john barry, i mean white chocolate, it's the underground king, pchnastradumus, holding down like Artest at a looney bin, taking people to d-leauge like MIke Miller in 10, months n mommies cannot handle the truth Timmby boi, o timmy boi, he's got the big boot.. lol j/k ..

Nah, but the Spurs are a more smart and defensive minded team, research that batman.

Ginobli.. dank

T.P... floaters, rings... free man..

Timmy D... last run...

Can the Timmy Express tie Kobe, at 5? We shall see foks, we shall see.

I'll answer your last question you posed with a no. The Timmy Express cannot tie Kobe at 5 rings. It isn't going to happen.

Think about what the Spurs have compared to the Thunder. The best three players on the Spurs are ages, respectively, 30 (Tony Parker), 34 (Manu Ginobli) & 36 (Tim Duncan). Now, let's look at the Thunder's top 3 players and their ages, respectively: 23 (Kevin Durant), 23 (Russell Westbrook) & 22 (James Harden). There's quite a bit of age disparity, and you can use the "experience" argument all you want, but Durant, Westbrook & Harden already have quite a bit of experience in their little time in the NBA.

Plus, when you look at the ages, you can just see that the Thunder's three can just run all game long on the old three of San Antonio.

Then look at the fact that Kevin Durent is arguably the best player in the NBA (only argument being against Kobe & LeBron), Westbrook (a dominant point guard with a nice scoring touch) followed by a great defender in James Harden (also a great three-point shooter).

The Thunder have what it takes to win the Championship, the Spurs don't.

O, here we go. The OLD MAN jokes...

yeah, Bernard Hopkins, he sucks he's old, right?

Michael Jordan at horse, he sucks, he's old, right?

lmao

give it up..

and also, it's Kevin Durant.. not durent, making me think of my "rents", parents. I mean, this is b-ball.

Tim Duncan is a top 3 player in the game, in this era.. experience, o, experience..

Tony Parker, can we say experience for the third time?

Ginobli, what of the best european players ever to grace the great Nba courts that we have. I mean, the guy has the iq of a military wombat.

Either way, Poppivich, and all those 3 players have been there before. The Thunder are up 3-1 on a squad that didn't do much in the off season, that's after Dallas spanked their behinds. I mean, no diss to Blake, he ball'd a little bit, and still possibly can, not saying the season's finished, but he's the biggest acquistion you get? On a championshiip driven team? Who else they get Matt Barnes, or was the season before? alright, it doesn't matter.. All i'm saying, is this Laker team is the 2012, the Spurs, the've reinvented theirselves, Thunder pups better watch the hel8 out.. peace in the middle east..

With the age argument, you can't just assume that they suck. And that's not what I'm doing. What I'm doing is saying that they don't have the young, energy-filled players that the Thunder has in Durant, Westbrook & Harden.

I like how you dwell on only 1 word that was misspelled & it only happened one time.

While Ginobli, Parker & Duncan are good players, you can look at Durant and say "Top 3 NBA player." Look at Westbrook and think "Top 5 PG in the league." Look at Harden and say "top defensive player & three-point shooter in the league." That, right there, does more for me than what the Spurs' old three does.

While yes, the Thunder just won the series in 5 games vs the Lakers, the Lakers are a a better team than the Clippers and is a more impressive win for the Thunder.

The Thunder have a good team, and they showed that their young age can take on a team with some old guys (Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace & Pau Gasol -- 33, 31, 32) so that shows you that with a top three on the Spurs older than that. The Lakers avg top 3 age is 32. The Spurs avg top 3 age is 33.3 & the Thunder's avg age is 22.6...

Thunder are younger, better and will win the NBA Title.

Hard to pick against the Spurs. Celts and Thunder are the only ones with a shot otherwise, I think.

Didn't you just say a few days ago Lebron was getting a ring?

I think he meant King Ringless bought a ring from a pawn shop?

The champion is coming out of the West.

I got $400 on the Spurs over the Thunder; so i will have to go with my money. Greg Popovich is one of if not the greatest coach of all time and they have been better then even i expected this postseason and i assumed they would be in the finals when the postseason started.

The Spurs have always been my second favorite team, and i hope they get one more before Timmy and the gang are done. I like the Thunder too, but they will have plenty of deep runs in the future as well.

Agreed on all counts.I'm a little biased because I grew up in San Antonio and I attended a number of Spurs games but I just don't see anybody stopping the SA Express this season, and as far as I'm concerned that's a good thing. If anybody "deserves" another ring it's Tim Duncan. Dude is a class act; he's basically the blueprint for how superstar athletes should represent themselves and their team/League.

Did you see the sports illustrated article on him this past week about him? About how he's bland and not a great interview and doesn't like to be super flashy; he just plays because he loves the sport. They say thats why he doesn't have a lot of fans. That is exactly why i love him, and that's why i like athletes like Rose and Toews. You know these are guys who just want to play and compete and wish the attention and the media didn't have to come with it.

Manu has been my favorite player in the league for awhile, but Timmy has always been the NBA player i respect the most.

Same here. Every time I see Manu drive to the hole for a herky jerky layup/dunk or bust a three I still hear Charles Barkley in my head... Gi-no-bili! Even though Barkley doesn't really do it much anymore.

I always loved this

"The San Antonio Spurs??? Manu Gin??bili is a statistical freak: he has no imbalance whatsoever in his game ??? there is no one way to play him that is better than another. He is equally efficient both off the dribble and off the pass, going left and right and from any spot on the floor"

This was an article talking about how Battier always gets complicated statistically break downs for players he has to guard

i say spurs by far, right now. thunder "should" probably be down 3-1 if not for two choke job games by the Lakers, and the Heat aren't deep enough to go against the Spurs.
