Ok, Is anyone excited about a rematch from UFC 99?
I'm not.
I'm a Franklin Fan, but this fight holds NO intrest for me.
Can you book a better Main event opponent for Wandi?

This is going to be a catchweight fight anyway, its a proven main event, and Chuck is still in shape.
Chuck's nowhere near the title anyway, but so is Franklin, and a company guy.
Got a better idea? Defend Franklin? Let's hear it

Sure, Rich has been hurt, but don't hate on rich, and as far as this match goes, the last one from "UFC 99" was pretty damn dank, to be straight up honest.

Never said Franklin stunk.
But where is he at 185? He's constantly said he doesn't want to fight at that weight, he hates the weight cut.
Where is he at 205? 3 fights away? Four?
He JUST lost to Forrest, and is 3-3 in his last 6.
Name me where 3-3 is a main event on a legit card.
Where does a win get Rich? Jon Jones? Anderson III?
Sonnen?
How does a Wandy win do anything in the big scheme of things? A loss moves him to 3-4, not likes gonna get cut, doing Dana another Solid, but arn't we past the Franklin as a main eventer?
I got a REALLY HUGE MMA fan, and this is going to be the first card in FOUR YEARS he skips.

WHen they fought, they went to a draw, BOTH fighters, the CROWD and Dana wanted to see them go 5.
They can go 5 in Brazil.
They can go all night if they want (and judging by the main card, I'd be fine if they went 9 rounds)

You do like fighters strugging to get over 500 in recent bouts don't you?
No wonder you like Ramapge Jackson, who is not only 3-3 in his recent bouts, but 4-4 as WELL!!
I'm not saying Wandy is a number 1 contender, or even on a great tear through the UFC.
Thats the POINT.
You need to SELL this fight. If you can't do it on Titles, then you do it on records or you do it on NAME
Look at Boxing, for example. 25% of the people buying the PPV might know the opponent for the challenger before the fights announced.

Rich and Wanderlie last fight got "FIghT OF THE NIGHT", and WERE the Main Event of the pay per view.. With Vitor being a "chicken", like Wanderlie said, I think Rich is a GREAT substitute.

This "ACE" vs "Axe Murderer" match will have fire works. Niether one of these guys have ever backed down from a good ole fashion barn burner. ****, in the fight Franklin won against Liddell, Liddell **** broke his arm with a kick, but what does Rich do, he **** strikes back, and knocks him the **** out.

UFC's goal is not to sell A fight....it is to sell interest in the sport, in general...interest in the sport translates to future revenue...bringing Chuck back would sabotage the credibility of the fights in UFC almost as much as James Toney and Kimbo did...Chuck brings NOTHING to the future of MMA or UFC. They need NEW names, NEW stars...filling up a space with a retiree just doesn't make any sense.
