I'm so confused...where did all the brainpower go?

Three weeks ago all I read on this site full of amazing sports brainpower was "LeBron sucks and he can't step up in an important game", "San Antonio has won 20 in a row and will cruise to and through the finals", "Oklahoma City is lucky to get this far", and "Miami will crash and burn in flames with those so called superstars blowing it all". And you were all wrong. How is this possible? How is it possible that a collection of this many geniuses when it comes to sports can be so horrifically wrong when it comes to predicting something as easy as basketball? Could it be that the vast majority of you don't have clue one what you're talking about? Oh wait, that's it. Never mind. Go back to your mindless blabber.

You appear angry.

If you wanna read some accurate commenting, contact --Loki--.

He's always right.

My point exactly. useless people.

So you said in the comments that you get paid for writing about sports.

Who do you write for?

Bleacher Report?

Or, dare I say it, the illustrious SportsNickel?

Furthermore, it's easy to look back on something after it happens and tell someone that they were wrong.

So what you should do now is predict the rest of the NBA Finals series, and when you are wrong (not if, when), I am going to make fun of you and call you a moron.

Bleacher Report and SportsNickel don't pay idiot. Shows once again how stupid you are. You just spout off without any thought about the level of absolute BS that is coming out of your mouth.

In the end, my point is proven by the fact that you have 16 votes when we haven't even had an actual throwdown. You've just proven again and again that you don't have clue one about sports, and all you're good at is leveling insults. This site is a joke. Mainly because idiots like you and your 16 fans are associated with it.

Since it is so easy, please let me know who will win in the finals, as well as how many game.

I'll call my bookie and make a mint.

There is a reason that we are just a bunch of idiots on a sports site instead of being paid for our sports opinions, you included.

I'm not sure the people being paid for their opinion are any smarter.

The difference is that we don't have to be held accountable for our dumb opinions. We can say whatever we want and the entire world isn't gonna know about it haha

Looks like Mr. Gruden is holding us accountable.

Bet you wish you hadn't stated, back in 2010, that Gerry Sandusky was a great role model for children?

Time for your accountability!

Dumbest thing said on this site this week. If sports were easily predicable, there would be no reason to play them in the first place.

What happened to the talking heads who get PAID to analyze basketball? They were picking Miami over Boston in 4 or 5, basically a cake walk. The consensus was also that the hot, veteran Spurs would beat the upstart Thunder. I guess they don't have a clue what they are talking about either.

So Gruden, do point us to YOUR predictions prior to the conference finals. show us YOUR prediction of Bos-Mia going 7 games, or Boston winning 3 straight. Show us where YOU said OKC would not only end the Spurs 20 game win streak, but do so by beating them 4 straight games. It's so "easy" to predict, surely you did so, right?

June 12, 2012  06:15 PM ET

If it was easy to pick games and winners, everyone would be rich doing it. Everyone chimes in with their opinion, and sometimes it ends up right, most of the time, not. I, for one, was shocked to see OK beat San Antonio 4 straight, and not sure even the most ardent Thunder fan would have called that happening. The fun part is trying to predict it, so instead of getting spun up, make your own predictions and live with the results. I hope the Thunder win it all, but Miami showed me something the last 2 games, so for me, they look to be the favorite in 6 or 7 games.

Gruden does have a point when he says Could it be that the vast majority of you don't have clue one what you're talking about?

A couple weeks back, i remember someone saying "anyone who thinks the Tampa Bay Buc's will not compete next year, knows nothing about football."

The same Buc's that got humiliated 10 straight games to end last year. WOW! There are some doozies on this site.

Did you ever consider that maybe everyone here had it right and the players got it wrong?

So you're saying LeBron tried to choke, but choked so bad at choking that he played great?

Brilliant!

I am gonna go ahead and clear it all up for Gruden. Hmm let's see....

Miami and Oklahoma city are both so good, that they will play in the finals and....one of them will win!

The world series will happen, likely between 2 baseball teams.

The Super Bowl will be played (and have to many commercials).....And no team from Ohio will be there (Cleveland and Cincy I'm looking at you).

Tonight it will get dark (except in northern Alaska....gotta make sure my predictions are accurate, or Gruden might lose his mind...)

Well yeah, hope we got that all cleared up.

Oh and I predict Gruden will lose this TD. Likely by alot. LOL
