What would be a better storyline, the heat or the thunder being champions?

Thunder as champions would be better

I cant wait to see, when that final second runs out,
the look on lebrons face

I love seeing guys with massive egos have that crushed look on their face
we all know that look
Heck, when i found out my college sweetheart was sleeping with an arab behind my back,
yes, i had that look too
you only want to see it on egotistical super stars
reality comes crashing through, that you just were not good enough
the fancy house you live in, may attract more women, than a honey pot to bees
or a bag of sugar to ants
but
When the clock strikes midnight,
lebron gets to be called pumpkin for another year

I know its inevitable lebron will win at least one championship
he has another 13 tries
but if he does not win 3 championships, his career will be considered a failure

I just want him to wait till he is 33 before he gets his first ring
then he will stop wearing those stupid glasses at press conferences
now, that would be a great story

Who knows?
maybe lebron will give his coach another "accidental" walk into frustration shove

You have our celts number, but no ring!

Playing Devils advocate because I am cheering for a Thunder Sweep.

Let's be honest. How many of you have ever been to Cleveland? Did you enjoy it? If you were given the option to leave there for practically every major city in the country would you stay in Cleveland or upgrade?

So lets forget the argument of lets jeer him for deciding to leave a franchise that never built a decent team around him to go to a Miami team that had potential.

Is it that Egotistical for LeBron to admit that he needed help to win and needed to go to Miami and solicit Dwayne Wade's help in winning rings?

It would be a great story line to see, LeBron proves that he isn't a LeBust!

Like it or not LeBron does a lot for the community he is very active still in Akron and all over the country traveling to Boys and Girls Clubs events. He is a nice guy at heart. To see the Heat win despite having a bum as a coach and a Cleveland like team around LeBron it would be a pretty nice headline.

Much better than seeing a picture under that headline of Russel Westbrook in his glasses and button up shirts.

That was a great argument..
Technically, yeah, Im going for an easy win, ha ha..
But that was a pretty good devils advocate! Who knows, maybe you can pull off the upset..
You will definitely get Peachies vote..

Yeah, I dont know why lebron has a bad reputation..
But he does..
Cleveland probably has a big thing to do with it..
Maybe its the Powder he throws in the air before each game.. Comes across as a all-about-me kind of guy..
maybe its those stupid glasses.. He is trying to come across as an academic, when he didnt even go to college! ha ha..
Maybe it was that stupid commercial, where he has 4 different versions of Lebron, to an extent, it reeked of egoism..

I know he has a good side too..
HE once told security to go away, and let him take some pics with marines that were fans of his..

I know he is not as bad as Kobe..

But still, its always fun to make someone a villain, and then root against them..

A good vs evil thing..

Plus I am a huge Durant fan..

He and Jeremy Lin, are the only humble basketball players in the League..
And it would solidify that a star is born..
Great storyline..

LeBron has worked his butt off to get this point. He is the best player in the game. He deserves this title, he was earned this title. America likes two different winners: the underdog and the guy who worked his butt off to win. Right now LeBron is fulfilling both of those of roles

Im out of ammo too, ha ha!

On a final point,
heat won a couple years back, so if they did win,
it wouldnt be a big deal..
thunder have never won..
heck oklahoma has never won anything..
heck heck, no one from oklahoma has ever won..

Oklahoma are lovable losers..
its almost like a 2nd division team winning the FA cup..
i dont even know where this place is..
aparently they are famous for good meat..
but you can say that about alot of places..

That Heat team that won a few years ago was am awfully different team then they are today, in fact I believe only Haslem and Wade are left from that team.

It is inevitable that the Thunder will win eventually, let them work for it a little bit harder.

LeBron has earned this and he will be emerging against all odds, he has a terrible coach and a terrible team around him that doesn't seem to want to take that next step with him.

While everyone loves to hate LeBron, I think we could all learn to love him a little bit.

The Thunder def.. they are the new school Spurs.. all they need is a go-to big man and they'll be good.. I see Perkins as a great back up.. he's a reggie evans type of player

One of the best centers in the league as a 'backup'? What are you smoking?

Revisionist history. The Cavs REPEATEDLY brought in guys Lebron wanted and assured the front office he could win with. Basically every player he asked for, they went out and got. Their biggest mistake was in letting Lebron choose the team around him. As good of a player as he is, he's equally bad at building teams.

While I don't think Perkins is a backup (well, depends on which team, of course), I also don't see him as one of the best centers in the league.

I'll TD on that (not calling you out or anything, just saying it would be an interesting TD if you're willing to do it).

No question it's the Thunder.

Le Bum.

As much as I dislike LeBron and his crew (but him specifically), as a Sonics fan, I find that I have no choice but to cheer for the Heat on this one. It's no slight to the players on the Thunder, either. I simply cannot bring myself to cheer for a team that so utterly stolen from Seattle.

Nothing personal, Highway. You've gotten my vote plenty of times before... but not this time.
