You are the Owner of an NFL Arena in LA.

What Franchise do you want? (Assuming costs are the same)

Oakland
Minny
Jax
Buffalo

I'll take Jax. They don't have a long history, and won't uproot a loyal fanbase.

Minnesota and Buffalo have a loyal fanabse, so I will go with Oakland. They have already been here before and a lot us Raider fans would love for them to come back. to Los Angeles.

I will keep it short since you did as well.

Well, EVERY team has a loyal fan-base, not much of a difference there.

Even Jacksonville, where they have to tarp off the stadium like they about to film a weeks worth of WCW Thunder, has a loyal fanbase.

The problem with bringing the Raiders- is they have been there and done that. The old farts that buy the 100K PSLs like the Black Hole, Oakland owns the Raiders.

The thing about Jax, is there simply isn't the history, there isn't the pure VOLUME of Fan-base. There are not generations of Jags fans out there.

But more to the point.

Florida has a TON of sports options, and the ONE team is constantly in blackout.
The Jags.

Oakland is on TV. every week. Oakland is just a BADLY run franchise. The Raiders can sign free agents.

No one wants to sign with the Jags. They don't have the pull to get any free agents without overpaying.

They were going to overpay for TEBOW for crying out loud!

"Well, EVERY team has a loyal fan-base, not much of a difference there."

Forget what you said?

"I'll take Jax. They don't have a long history, and won't uproot a loyal fanbase."

Anyways....

"The problem with bringing the Raiders- is they have been there and done that"

They would be correcting a wrong. They never should have moved to Oakland, but Al got greedy. And things didn't exactly work out the way he thought they would in Northern California.

"Oakland is on TV. every week."

They might be on TV every week....because I have the NFL Sunday Ticket through DirecTV. But, here in Los Angeles? They aren't on CBS every week.

We actually get a lot more Charger games than Raider games. Nice try though.

"The Raiders can sign free agents."

Actually, no. They can't. At least not high quality free agents like you seem to be implying they can.

They are capped out. They released 2 of their main CB's last season in Stanford Routt and Chris Johnson who started a lot of games last season.

Why? Because they make too much in relation to their production on the field.

You seem to have icopetence confused with inability.

Part of the reason the Rai-dahs are in the cap situation they are in is because they are HORRIBLY run, and signed horrible deals, but players still want to play in Oakland.

Even MJD wants out of Jacksonville, and he might be a hall-of-famer.

Oakland SOLD OUT every home game, compared to Jacksonville, who has to sell 17,000 tickets to budweiser for the OPENER to be shown on TV.

That being said, the Chargers had two blackouts, so that's 2 games you didn't see on CBS

I tried to find the local broadcasts of Chargers vs Raiders- had to wait to get home and STILL had issues finding the raiders,

Pain in the PCH that is.

BUT

You will be happy to know that in weeks you conflict
Your CBS station will be playing the Raiders in

Week 3 (Pitt)
Week 10 (Bal)
Week 15 (KC)

You do lose the week 11 game vs NO, as the SD/Den is over it

Fun fact, you do get Jax once- vs New England, so enjoy that game.

"Even MJD wants out of Jacksonville, and he might be a hall-of-famer."

He wants out of Florida because Blaine Gabbert sucks big time. And MJD wants to win, like most athletes.

"Part of the reason the Rai-dahs are in the cap situation they are in is because they are HORRIBLY run, and signed horrible deals, but players still want to play in Oakland."

They do? Please tell me what elite free agents are trying to play for the Raiders at below market value.

They aren't any clamoring to put on the Silver and Black. As much as it hurts to type that. It's true.

Al Davis wanted the PSL's in Oakland.

"Oakland is on TV. every week."

That was your original quote. They aren't on local TV every week here. Fact. I have the NFL Sunday Ticket so I no longer have to resort to CBS, but I was simply pointing out thge Raiders aren't shown that much here in Los Angeles.

The Raiders coming back to LA would create more interest here than the Bills, Vikings or Jags relocating here. That's just obvious. At least to me it is.

As a resident of Los Angeles county - please, please, please, please, PLEASE don't bring the Raiders back. Dodger fans are bad enough. I'd like to be able to take my kids to a game without worrying they'll get caught in the crossfire.

I do not and would not support the Raiders leaving Oakland. They have an established passionate fan base who continue to support the team win or lose. So I just don't think it's right to the city to lose their team.

But if I owned the LA Arena, and were given those four teams to choose from, hell yeah I want the Raiders. They're the only team on that list with a fan base already in LA.

Raiders fans are a classy bunch.

Many of them are. Unfortunately, they're also the favored team for a bunch of thugs, cholos and gangbangers who think a good time is getting drunk and beating up strangers. We don't need more of that element here.
