The main options being discussed for Allen are the Celtics, Clippers, and Heat.
If I were Ray Allen, i would sign with the Miami Heat.
He would be able to play a lot of minutes, while getting the rest needed to stay healthy. He is a great 3-point shooter, which fits well with the Heat. He would get tons of open looks from the perimeter off of passes from Lebron, Wade, etc. He would not need to defend as much, since Lebron and Wade are good defenders. He would be perfect for the heat, and they would be perfect for him.

Clear choice for Allen would be Boston
You contradict yourself by saying He would be able to play a lot of minutes, while getting the rest needed to stay healthy.
However if he goes to Boston he will def. get more rest since Boston signed Jason Terry remember next season will return to normal which means a longer schedule. Boston has the ability to give Allen nights off to rest due to the Terry signing which will be huge in keeping Allen fresh and healthy for the playoffs.
Allen would cont. to get open looks with Boston Rondo and KG are great passers.
No matter where Allen goes he isnt going to defend much bc lets face it even if hes healthy hes not a good defender.
Allen is a future HOF. It would be sad to see him sellout and go to Miami to be a better version of Mike Miller. His numbers and roll would hit a decline in Miami, standing around all night watching Wade and Lebron play until one of them decides to pass him the ball.
In Boston his contrabutions and role will be greater bc it is also a fact that Boston a team that went 7 with miami needs Allen way more than Miami does.

Thing is, there is no place for Allen in Boston, it would only hurt the C's for him to go there. They already signed Terry, who is a good shooter from the outside and a better all around player than Allen. They also have Avery Bradley who is an outstanding defender and is solid offensively. He would be stuck behind both of these guys at the 2.
Bradley is most likely going to be the starting 2, with Terry being the 6th man as he has been for Dallas. Allen wouldn't get the minutes he wants, and would not be as effective.
Allen would be the 6th man in Miami, playing 30 mpg. If he needed to, he could take a night off since the big 3 can carry them. He also will get to start a number of games because Wade will need some nights off, as he can't stay healthy.
Allen is most effective as a catch and shoot guy. Miami last year did a lot of that with Miller, Jones, and Battier. Allen could probably get around 5-10 shots a night, and would be open for all of them. For Boston, they don't have anyone who attracts that attention, and gets him open.
If Allen wants a ring, he will go to Miami. Boston will not be able to beat Miami, especially with Allen in Miami.

Ray Allen would start in Boston, Terry is the 6th man and Avery Bradley is injured will miss the beginning of the season so there is a strong need for Allen.
And for you to say Boston doesnt have anyone that will attract attention away from Allen to
give him open looks makes no sense at all. What are Rondo, KG, And Pierce, scrubs??? Please Allen isnt and never was the # 1 scoring option in Boston so he will cont. to get open looks there.
I also disagree with you saying Boston will not beat Miami. Boston took Miami to 7games without Avery Bradley, Allen was all banged up, and a weak bench. This year Boston will be better. the team will be healthy, the bench will be much better with Terry plus Boston made some solid draft picks, and KG found some new motivation this man wouldnt sign a three yr deal unless he truly believed Boston can still compete for the title.
So I still like Allen coming back to Boston

Boston is not the same team they have been, pierce is declining and I'm not sold on KG being the same player he was toward the end of last year. He is breaking down, and probably won't be as effective. The Celtics have very little depth up front behind KG and Bass. Who are they going to back them up with? they only have Fab Melo and Jajuan Johnson at this point. A rookie who plays very little offense, and a second year player who only played garbage time.
At this point in his career, why would Allen want to play for a Team that won't win it all? The Heat, Pacers, Bulls (if Rose comes back healthy), and the Nets if they get Howard are going to be better. Not to mention the strong teams out west like the Lakers and Thunder.
Bradley may miss the beginning, but what happens when he comes back? The Celtics would be better off signing a player like Pietrus who can defend and shoot, not just shoot like Allen. The Celtics will have no room for Allen once Bradley comes back, and he will be restriced to less than 10 minutes a night if that. In Miami he would be a 6th man backing up Wade. Mike Miller got 20 mpg, James Jones got 10, Allen could get 25+ and be productive.

well I just saw on Espn that Allen went to Miami but this TD is about were Allen should go and I still believe he should have went to Boston. Allen played there for 5yrs one his 1st title there Boston was still committed to winning they should that with the signings they made. Boston also offered Allen more money but apparently Allen took the easy way out. He wont have to work as hard with the Heat, he will be able to take alot more plays off, play little defense and just stay outside the 3point line all game.
Im just glad Nash didnt go to Miami as well. Congrats Allen you are now the Heats new Mike Miller
