Now that we have 8 Fighters in the Hall, let's start matching them up. To be fair, I'll do this by Debut.

What UFC HoF had the biggest IMPACT on the sport? This is NOT who would win in a fight or even better fighter.

(If you think this is obvoius, leave it, and I'll kill it tommorrow)

Match 3

Dan Severn (UFC4) vs Tito Ortiz (UFC13)

I like Severn here

For the first few UFCs, it was, literally, an infomercial for Gracie Ju-Ju- operators are standing by.
When Severn came in, he almost beat Gracie- then began to dominate the sport after Royce left.

Dan showed that the UFC would not dissolve into an Americanized AB tourney.

I'd love to argue the popularity of Tito here, but I don't think anyone would be able to see past Severn's record and legacy. Great topic though.

101-19 is amazing on paper but it's too bad most of that is in minor organizations, against unknown opponents.

Travis Fulton is 247-49. So what?

Also, Severn never became a champion in a major organization. 1-night tournaments and "superfights" in the UFC and that's it.
