I mean we often hear that Point Guard's are an essential part of any basketball team, but I mean like... Are they really, I mean like are they? People often describe Point Guards as Quarterbacks, but I mean like... Are they really, I mean like are they?
What I'm trying to say is that most championship football teams have a great quarterback at the helm so to speak (hehe) but idk if thats the case with Point guards in the NBA or in college that matter. Basically what I'm trying to say is **** point guards super overrated, don't spend max money on a Deron Williams when you can get a Dwight Howard so to speak haha no what I mean anyway thats all. If you're hot and bothered enough to disagree with me accept this and let your ideas take flight haha loltrain.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but please keep trying to say what you wanted to try and say by saying it. Having said that, and wishing you the best in trying to say what you want to say by trying, I can move on.
In thinking of this, and trying to say it of course, I originally thought of closers in baseball. Look, they are asked to come in and not screw a game up. Don't let in a couple of runs when you are spotted the lead. But, the closer still has to make pitches.
Then it hit me like a flash. Well, more like a flop on a pitch.
Useless. Utterly useless.
What do they face, 1 or 2 shots in a 90 minute game? And when they make a save, it's more the flopper hitting the goalie than anything else.
The goal is 24 feet wide and 8 feet high. That's 2 flops! There is no way any soccer player can cross 12 feet without tripping on a blade of grass and grabbing their hamstring like they've been shot. I've seen it, or at least been told that. Well, I'm not sure how reliable the source that told me was.
But, I stand by this, and I'm not trying to say it, I'll just say it.
The correct answer is "Soccer goalie".

I tried really hard to understand your first paragraph, then I read your actual argument, toked up and said **** it.
Dude come on do you ever watch soccer sober? on average goalies face way more than 1 or 2 shots and even I know that. Moreover, (to use some fancy transitioning I learned in high school) a goalies only responsibility is not to save shots, he also directs the defense so that shots won't even occur ahem ahem.
And look you may not know this about me but I'm an expert on grass (wink nod) and I know for a fact that goalies have no problem maneuvering past it and don't respect you trivializing their profession.
aghhh I'm coughing up a lung right now.
Anyway I don't think anyone with brain cells would argue that goalkeeper is the most important position in soccer, whereas there are people who WOuLD argue that Point guard is the most important position in basketball.
I got facts on facts on facts yeaaaaa!

I got as far as "do you ever watch soccer sober".
A better question would be "do I watch soccer?".
After that, I gave up on what you put down. Probably something about being stoned and being upset, which ISN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU ARE HIGH. Which tells me, you're lying.
But I'm not lying about soccer goalies being the most overrated.
OK, I went back and read your argument. 33 brain cells committed suicide because of it, but I'm a gamer.
Of course I'm trivializing their profession. Do you really think that someone shooting on net are bothered by a goalie? Really? 192 square feet and 8 feet high. Can the goalies even reach that? I'm guessing the runt of the soccer litter is the one they stick in net, usually the fat kid because he takes up more space.
Well, gravity works against them, usually with hilarious results.
See, gravity is not their friend.

Ok I'm a little hurt right now. Not gonna lie, I'm a little butt hurt right now.
It's almost like you were only willing to TD with me when you thought I was a complete and total idiot pothead loser, then I made an actual argument and you turned the TD into a joke. That hurts, but live and let live I suppose. I'm shrugging like Kanye right now.
Anyway like I said most people wouldn't even say that goalie is the most important position in soccer, you totally ignored this, you never addressed point guards at all, maybe you did, maybe I forgot, its possible. More than likely actually.
Dude bro hombre, goalies in soccer do have an effect on the game despite your ignorant denials pardon my doushbag.
Like I've seen goalies save PENALTIES! Do you know how freaking impossible that is. That's like rolling up a blunt into a geometrically perfect cylinder impossible.
Like I feel like I'm debating myself right now, and if I wasn't so zooted I'd probably feel a little stupid but alas No Church in the Wild and all that jazz church preach amen.
By the way the last 5 teams to win rings in the NBA did it without a PG being the best player. Heat, Mavs, Lakers, Celts, Spurs.

I just want to be clear on this very serious allegation you threw at me about wanting to TD you when I thought you were a pothead loser, then made a joke out of it after you made an "argument".
I made a joke out of it way before that.
Now, with that out of the way.....
You didn't argue "most important", you argued "most overrated". I went back and read the title just to make sure. I was sure.
You mention that they actually make penalty shot saves on occasion.
Occasional saves. They happen to get in the way and guess right when they dive. Lotta skill there. Maybe they should play the lottery if they can guess that good.
Wow, they really do suck.
