OK I know I'll get beat up by Cowboy's fans for even thinking of this but what the heck.
My line of thinking in theory is this, with Bryant's recent trouble with the law could have him suspended for a couple games or in jail possibly and T.O. could fill that void. We all know the Commish will have Bryant in his office to explain his bad behavior and probably give him a two game suspension to think about what he did.
After T.O.'s being fired from the Arena League and his baby momma problems he's in desperate need of a paycheck and might behave himself if given another chance. How humiliating is it to be fired from the Arena League after being one of the best receivers in the NFL? So it can be a possibility that T.O. might play well with others.
Thats all I have for the first argument. Good Luck to whoever accepts.

Hell no. To sign TO would be a horrible idea.
First: He is disruptive in the locker room. With Bryant already there, they don't needs another disruptive influence. Owens would just be a bad influence on the younger guys in the locker room. He would cause too much drama and trouble to even consider.
Second: He isn't a good receiver anymore. HE GOT CUT FROM THE ARENA LEAGUE. Seriously, that is low. and then consider why he was in the AL in the first place, it's because no NFL team would sign him. Right now he isn't worth anything in terms of receiving, and would be a waste of a roster spot.
He would just cause drama, without any real production on the field. He is certainly not worth signing.
BFB said 07/18, 05:57 PM
True he was a disruptive force when with SF, Philly and Dallas but we didn't hear much from him when he was with Buffalo and Cincy. I think he had a hard time dealing with the fact that an other NFL team wasn't interested and the only place he could play was the Arena League causing him to act out.
Another reason why it's a possibility is JJ's nuts enough to do it. With the possibility of Dez being in trouble JJ might hit the panic button to fill a hole and sign TO. After all he has replaced Al Davis as the senile and crazy owner.
As far as TO not being a good receiver I'm not saying he's a #1 but still could be a serviceable #2or3 if needed. He has kept himself in shape and could still come in and play and be productive.
That new guy said 07/19, 07:52 AM
TO is a waste of money. He has torn apart teams in the past, who says he wouldn't do it again? He will not be effective, not a #2 or a #3, maybe a #5. he is not worth the money he would want, and would be a waste of a roster spot. He is not good in the NFL anymore, and would be disruptive in the locker room.
This TD is SHOULD Dallas consider him. Yes, Jerry Jones is a nutcase, but I don't care who's making the decision, be it a tactical genius Bill Belichick or some guy from a mental institution, it would still be a TERRIBLE idea.
The only thing left to say is ANY team who considers signing TO should consider going to a psychiatrist, because that idea is crazy.
BFB said 07/19, 05:34 PM
Should Dallas consider him??? Absolutely. As I pointed out earlier I don't believe he will be a problem, he needs money and would be thrilled for an opportunity to play again.
As to the naysayers that he's washed up and no longer a good receiver look as his stats the last two years in the league. His career catches average was 72 he caught 55 passes with Buffalo and 72 with Cincy. Average yards per game 73 with 52 and 70. Touchdown average 10 per season had 5 and 9. First downs average per year 49 with 33 and 47. Yards after catch is where he declined a little. but he did have 6 years with 400+yards. His average was 377 and had 225 and 288. So to say he couldn't be a 2nd or 3rd receiver is nuts. His last year he was near his career averages, sure he lost a step but in the amount that most say.
So in closing Dallas should consider TO as an option. He can come in and be of help if needed and hopefully has his attitude in check.
It's been a pleasure TDing you New Guy Good Luck.

The thing is, Terrell Owens will never be anything but trouble for this team, the last time he was there he caused major problems. He will not be good for this locker room, and would be a bad influence on younger receivers such as Bryant.
The last time he played in the NFL was two years ago, and he was already declining then. He has lost his athleticism, and wasn't as effective as in the past. After a year in the AFL (where he got cut) there is no reason to beleive he will be any better. He is over the hill and will not be effective. He has lost many steps, and to bring him in would not be any better than any other free agent they might bring in. They already have WR's on the roster, they do not need another over the hill, bad WR.

There's only one place for T.O. to go and that's Oakland!!!!! Randy 'n T.O. on the same team!? it could work, just make sure to have a sideline shrink for Carson.

I don't think the media made up his mother's 911 call, and the details she gave about the abuse by Dez. If it was a random girl, then I would consider sitting pat and see the evidence, but it's his mother for god sake! What mom is going to lie or exaggerate about being abused by her child? The media doesn't have anything to do with this.

Dez Bryant isn't a winner. Cowboys should have kept Robinson and got rid of this thug.
