ACTUAL TITLE::::: HOw many games will the Jaguars win this season?
I got 7...
I think Gabbert will be better without Del Rio. I also think Blackmon helps out tremendously. If JOnes Drew would quit being a crybaby, I'd put them @ .500. I know he'll back, but we all know CJ last year for Tennessee, and how that effected them. You gotta have training camp and preseason, Jerry Rice even said.

From what I can see from the Jaguars is winning 5 games.
While I look at their schedule, I can see a couple upsets happening and a couple games they can win confidently.
I think they can beat Minnesota and Oakland confidently.
I think that they have 2 wins against their own division (1 vs. Indy & 1 vs. Tennessee).
I think that they will beat Miami also.
So that's the 5 wins.
My main concerns are the receiving core and the offense as a whole. And I especially have the same concern that you brought up with Maurice Jones-Drew.
When you talk about him missing training camp and some pre-season games so far, it's going to effect him. Especially since Jones-Drew is the best thing that offense has going for them and is going to carry this team.
I don't have much trust in Gabbert, and them switching coaches is also another concern of mine. A new coaching change will mean that the team has to get used to something different, so I can see this being a re-adjustment year where they take a slight step backwards to go forwards.
I'm curious on where you think they're going to be winning 2 more games, because as I look at the schedule, I can't see it.

Dude, you dont know who the ****'s going to be good this season?
I mean, some teams, but not all.
Gabbert's been ball'n.. He's shown some pose this season already..
they added Laurant Robinson, and Justin Blackmon this season.
Jones Drew, when he comes back, he's arguably one of the top running backs in the game.
Jags D, gonna be better than last year..
7 games giving Gabbert the benefit of the doubt, but at least this year, he'll have weapons.

You ask me that question like you are 100% certain on who the good & bad teams are going to be this season, but the thing is: you don't know that either.
While Gabbert might have been doing pretty well so far, you have to realize that it's pre-season and everything that players put up, you have to take with a grain of salt because they usually aren't playing against the best competition that a team can put out there and teams are usually just trying different things out.
While Laurent Robinson isn't a bad addition, he has been in the league for 4-5 years already, and has only had 1 season where he broke out. I wouldn't rely on him too much. Blackmon is a rookie with a not-so-hot quarterback. He will be a nice addition, but I don't think he's gonna be able to bring this team to a contender. In any form of the world.
Jones-Drew is going to miss all of pre-season and training camp, unless he comes back now. And if he did come back now, I don't know if he would even be ready for this upcoming game. That's going to hurt them a lot, especially with how important training camp/pre-season is to get in shape for the regular season.

Laurent Robinson break out year was LAST YEAR..
so...
Yeah, scoop him up.
You said the Jags will split with the Titans and Colts?
I say the Jags take one of those 2-0..
Jags and Gabbert were horrible last year, but I think they will be a suprise team.
New coaching, new wr's, 2nd year for Gabbert, and not so thicke division, Peyton's gone.

Laurent Robinson had a break-out year last season, but that doesn't mean anything to me. He hasn't had a history of success, so why do you think he's going to have a great season again with a much worse quarterback?
And, to make matters worse, now you have Maurice Jones-Drew asking for a trade, so that production you'd actually get out of the offense is even worse and making 7 wins completely out of reach.
I think they go 2-2 against Indy & Tennessee. I don't see them winning a series against each team.
The Titans were pretty solid last season and I can see another season of about 7 or 8 wins.
The Colts have a new quarterback in Andrew Luck and they'll be able to do better than last season, which I expect them to get a couple of more wins than last season.
They were pretty bad last season, and they're going to have another bad season. Gabbert was bad and I can't see him improving so much that the Jaguars win 7 games.
New coaching: more of a problem than a benefit, in my opinion.
New WR's: nothing special, especially Robinson.
2nd year for Gabbert: won't be any better.
Another 2-4 record in division.
But Andrew Luck is in.
Jaguars finish 5-11.

If MJD gets the trade he wants or sits out the season instead the Jags will be lucky to get 5 wins.
