XXPCHXX.-LBJ6 wins game1!! said 08/22, 02:04 AM
The Miami Heat dont have a frkn center...
Joel Anthony?
Eddy Curry? lol
please... It's an utter joke..
Lebron will be Lebron. Lebron's wiped away the Finals' curse.
I'm really schocked the Lakers got to keep Gasol in the Bynum and Dwight sweepstakes.
I think the Lakers have a more comlete team then the Heat. I'm a Heat fan, and would like nothing other than them winning, but not addressing the presence down low, faulty by the Heat.
Adding Ray Allen is great.. Dwight... MONUMENTAL.. EPIC...
Yeah, Nash and Kobe have had SOME years in the league, and they arn't like the use to be, but still have 80% or better left in the gas tank. I mean, sh8t, Kobe just scored 68 in 15 minutes..lmao j/k know it was charity.
Kobe is still a top 5 player in the league. There's no one else I would want taking the last second shot at the end of a game. Nash will get the ball moving, Gasol's a big presence down low, Dwight, he's won how many Defense of the Player trophy's? and he also clogs up the middle even more for the Lake show then Mr. Bynum did.
Heat are in trouble. LA sizzling.

Hey Peachy, let me let you in on a secret.
That Center position you are so concerned about?
They didn't have one LAST year.
If anything, it got BETTER as a Rashed Lewis is 6'10 and can take a few minutes at PF so Bosh can roll the High Post.
Let's keep in mind how much POWAH is in the west.
Portland got better.
The Clippers still have Paul and Blake- and added a Kardashian
The Spurs are still right there
Dallas still has Dirk and, well Dirk
Not to mention the Thunder
Don't sleep on Memphis, either.
Now in the East
Miami took away a third of the Big 3
The Knicks look worse- guys AFTER contract are normally worse than guys before
The Nyets? Nice Twosome, but not scary at all.
The Bulls are a challenge, but only with Rose. Call me when they figure out what to do with Deng and dump the Booze.
Easier path in the East by FAR
XXPCHXX.-LBJ6 wins game1!! said 08/22, 10:42 PM
easier path in the east, sure.
Miami won last year, you're right.
They also won without a center, but now they NEED one.
Dwight's the best center in the league, bar none.
Dwight, Nash, Kobe, Metta World Peace, and Gasol... that's like a remake of the 2007 all star team..
Listen to you... below..
Portland got better.
The Clippers still have Paul and Blake- and added a Kardashian
The Spurs are still right there
Dallas still has Dirk and, well Dirk

Portland? lmao true contenders, huh?
Clippers? Yeah, D. JOrdan vs Dwight, Kobe vs who?
The Spurs are right there, sure they are.
Dallas? nah bro, that run they had was magical, the 3's were rollin, but i doubt they'll win a title.
Memphis? yawn....
Thunder ARE the only real contender in my book. The Thunder could give the Lakeshow a scare, but so could the 76'ers vs the Heat.. Don't forget this young team that went 7 with Boston too, just added Bynum..
lets face the facts, Lebron and Dwade's fire power, can't overcome the thickeness of the Lakeshow's front 5

By the way, this might just end up on http://7poundbag.com so adjust accordingly.
If Lebron James and Bosh crashed into each other on Jet Skis-
How many West Teams could win the East?
You could poo-poo the Grizzlies, but you don't think they could make the East Finals?
The Heat have 4 guys that can pound on Howard and his Shaq-like FT shooting- Before Bosh has to try and score from the position.
Who stops Ray Allen? MeTta has Bron, and Kobe has Wae- so when Ray gets hot- who shuts him down? Luke Walton? Is he even on the team?
What if Battier gets hot? Or Mike Miller is 100%
Next let's look at PGs, both STINK on defense, but Kobe and Ron are vERY good help defenders, but Gasol stinks on D, and Howard is NOT a good help defender. Mario is better than Nash on D, but the other 4 on the floor are VERY good help defenders- even Joel.
Heck Ray and Shane are very good help defenders- only Rashard and Mike are stinky, and Spo has learneed to hide them.
Liking Mike Brown to outcoach Spo?

Gasol or/and Howard will have a difficult time trying to figure out their spacing on the offensive side. On defense Nash will become a liability. IMO the Finals will be the Thunder and the Heat again.

yeah, of course offensively they'd be killah to watch.
Kwame from the my hometown just signed w/ the 6'ers. He's behind Bynum again, and behind Hawes.

"The Miami Heat dont have a frkn center..."
Neither did the Olympic team, and we see how that turned out. Don't bother trying to convince me that Tyson Chandler, beanpole that he is and all, is a center. He's not. He's a stretch four at the very most. Granted, the Heat are not the collection of the league's best talent as the Olympic squad was and always will be, but they're not going to be outside of the title hunt by any means.
Waiting for David to close out but leaning his way despite that.
