cant use any of mine....

RULE...

1. Robin Ventura vs Nolan Ryan..

The old man spanked the young buck. Ryan got Ventura after the charge, and he put him in a headlock, followed by some ole "knuckle sammich'es"...

2. Larry Johnson Kickerbockers vs "ZO" Charlotte Hornets..
These two were supposed to build a dynasty in Charlotte... Grandma ma and Zo had one for the ages, and Zo had Van Gundy holding on to his leg. lol

we will argue 5 a piece.. leh go

That first pick is pretty tough to beat Peachy. Great MLB moment.

But when it comes to fights in non combat sports, I have to look to a sport where guys actually know how to fight (so NBA is definitely out).

Here are my first 3 picks:

1. Patrick Roy vs. Chris Osgood (April 1, 1998)

Gotta love when goalies scrap. Things get going around the 1:00 mark...

2. Marty McSorley vs. Bob Probert (Feb 4, 1994)

Good effort by a couple of Heavyweights. Usually hockey fights don't go on for this long but both these guys have iron chins (and the refs were also a bit afraid to jump in since they'd probably get their heads knocked off).

3. Redwings vs. Avalanche (March 26, 1997)

You'll like this one, Peachy. It's kind of like a Royal Rumble/King of the Ring on ice. Total chaos.

Best o' luck, Peachy.

thanks, yoda!
Being from south GA, I have never been that into hockey. I'm not hating on the sport tho.

Saw, I'm going to bypass in hockey fights, because truthfully, I havn't seen them.

my next pick is a little oddball..

Dennis Rodman vs David Stern..

NEVER HAPPENED, but Rodman wanted him in a "naked match".. don't believe me, hit the link below.

for my 4th pick.. this one's close to Pch'es heart. lmao

Andre "Bad Moon Rising" Vs Deion "Primetime" Sanders..

This was more of a cat fight, but it was a historic moment in Falcon's history, for what good that is. Both players had their helmets on, but they both slugged like nobody's business. Deion was on the 49'ers, one year removed from being a Falcon, and the Falcons and 49'ers back then were division rivlals. It hurt to see such a talent leave, and was not good to see two friends, for a second, lose all respect for each other..

5th.. coming...

Damn, Peachy. I thought you were going to leave that imaginary Dennis Rodman fight on the table for me. I'll have to resort to Plan B.

I do like that "Primetime" choice. A bit random, but you justified it nicely.

Anyway, back to hockey...

4. Tie Domi vs. Bob Probert (December 2, 1992)

These guys had a number of great fights in the early 90s. They were arguably the two biggest names amongst the enforcers at the time and used to regularly refer to "winning the belt" from the other guy.

Probert takes this fight in the vid but Domi hangs in there incredibly well for a "middleweight". You can see why Domi was a huge fan favorite for the Leafs and the Rangers.

Alright, don't worry Peachy. I'll save my final pick for my last argument...and it won't be hockey, my friend.

all good..

Yeah, what wasn't imaginary was Stern killing Rodman's billfold.

anywho, for the 5th, and FINAL PICK...

I GOT>.>>>>

New York Yankees vs the Baltimore Orioles... May 19th 1998

Tino Martinez gets plucked, o, here we f'n go!!!!!!

and almost 10 years to the day...

we almost had another ONE...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2nZt0n7NXw

you know a brawls good when Daryl Strawberry gets the last lick on the pitcher.. (MINE's OWN)

Not bad, Peachy. Not bad.

Here's my last one...

5. Carlos Perez vs. The Water Cooler in the dugout (June 17, 1999)

I count about 13 or 14 solid shots from that baseball bat.
This guy's out of his mind. He's pummeling the shjt out that damn cooler! Hahaha. And he's switch-hitting at the same time. Must be a good quality cooler to stand up to that beat down.

Footage at the 14 second mark...

Thanks for the TD, Peachy.

How about Caramello Anthony b/!/t/c/h slapping that NY Knicks player back in '06? The of course he ran away.

pedro and zimmerman count?

August 23, 2012  01:47 PM ET

The Roy-Osgood and Roy-Vernon fights had to make it. Nice addition with the McSorley-Probert one. Too bad the Good Friday Massacre took place in '84, too early to qualify here.

Peachy's #1 is great. Yoda's #3 is the first that came to my mind.

Great picks so far.

August 23, 2012  02:24 PM ET

Number one for me is Clark and McSorely.

Number two and three are Roy-Osgood and Roy-Vernon.

August 23, 2012  02:27 PM ET

Clark and Probert had some really great fights against each other.

Yeah, he totally should've let that old man wail on him...

I can't remember what year this was but when he was in Boston he beaned a couple of Indians in a game. When the batter rushed the mound Perdo tucked his tail between his legs and ran back to the dugout and THEN started talking s-h-!-t. Just gutless.

I remember Geralnd Williams(I think) leveling Pedro, then the rest of the Red Sox tackled Williams, the Pedro got up and jumped on top of the pile.

Ok, for an alleged Heat fan, how do you not know the brawl was between the Knicks and Heat?Where PJ Brown body slammed Charlie Ward.

O, I remember.. Saw Ward play qb for FSU a couple times.
