I know its just pre-season..
But this guy is already pushing the panic button, on HIMSELF..

I love Sanchez.. He could very well be the next eli manning..
A guy that kind of sucks 45% of the time, but can win 3 measly games in a row..

1. Lance Armstrong
Moving one ball up the list. Yeah I'd say is summer isn't turning out the best.
2. Melky Cabrera
Busted for PED's at the worst possible time for SF. Add in his fake website and phony story and he comes off as a major tool. He needs to be on this list for sure.
3. Jon Jones
Is the #1 reason why a UFC event was canceled for the 1st time in 11 years. After Henderson pulled out of the fight due to injury the UFC offered Jones a fight with Sonnen, a fighter from a lower weight class and a fighter who was not even training. Jones turned the fight down and 3 days before he was quoted as saying, "I'd fight Sonnen in a heart beat." The event was canceled screwing the fighters on the rest of the card who were training for months and the fans who had their airplane and hotels booked. What a bum.
4. Chad Johnson
Not sure if he really beat up his wife or not but either way his career is in doubt now. You cannot put yourself in that situation when you know you have 1 strike left.
5. The Red Sox
I can't just include Valentine or Cherington. The entire organization is a joke right now. The players are babies and the ownership group are enablers.

6. Bartolo Colon..
The fattest guy ever to be busted with steroids:)

Damn shame, he was actually having a decent year..
7. Arsenal..
Losing Robin Van Persie, one of the best strikers in the world.. To Man United, their bitter rival, no less.. As an Arsenal fan, the writing is on the wall.. The owners just dont want to win trophies.. At this level, you have got to get the big names, and that means opening up the cheque book..
And what makes it hurt even more is we only got $24 million.. Had we sold him a year before this season, we would have got around double.. I wont lie, my passion for the Gunners this season is low, theres just not alot of reasons to get excited..
8. The MIGHTY Brazilian olympic soccer team..
Losing to Mexico and settaling for silver..
The Brazilians only looked good in the last 5 minutes of that match..
If you only play well for 5 minutes, then you dont deserve to win..
9. American pitching during the LLWS..
Guess in 10 years time, we are going to have some awesome batters and horrendous pitching

6. Kenny Britt
Arrested for DUI in July after already being arrested multiple times in the past. Obviously this guy just doesn't get it.

How can we leave this guy off the list? Tyrann Mathieu. The Honeybadger. Thrown off LSU for being a bonehead. STOP doing drugs. You are wasting your god given talent.
8. LA Angels.
They went out and spent a ton of money, and guess what, they are fading at the worst possible time. 3rd place and 4 games out of the Wild Card. Not good.
I want to go back to your first selection for a moment. Ben Cherington? Really? The guy has been on the job less than 1 season and has had to deal with what Theo Epstien left behind. He goes out and cleans up the mess Epstein left by trading away Beckett, Crawford, and Gonzalez, and freeing up over $200 million and you think thats a bad move?
This team is a total disgrace and Cherington made the 1st move in many to fix the problems. He cleared the bad contracts of Beckett and Crawford away with 1 move. I say hooray Ben, great job. And he shouldn't be on any goat list at all.

I dont think DUI's are that big of a deal..
I mean, yeah, if you killed someone with your car cause you got soooo hammered, cause you were trying to pick up enough dutch courage, to pick up enough scratch on the side, doing some gay ****.. Ok, fine, gave that guy a DUI, kind of sounds like he deserves it..
BUT
If its about a single guy, going to a bar, and getting hammered cause alot of pretty girls are kind of mean, and he wants to take the edge off of the situation..
I mean, what do you want him to do?
Sit at home and think about the love train all day?
In Europe, we have about 10% of cops, compared to the states..
All of my english friends have had no DUIs..
All of my florida friends have had DUI's..
You can be angry and point the finger..
But when you look at the statistics, its really not that surprising, with all the DUIs..
Heck, their is even a TV show based on cops busting drunks for DUIs..

DUI's are slightly serious bro, you know, especially cause you can kill someone. So Kenny Britt is a total moron for drinking and driving but what makes him a goat is that he's going to be suspended for it which is ultimately going to negatively affect his team.
Some of the weird inclusions on your list. Ben Cherington? The guy who just made a fabulous trade? Dumb inclusion.
Mark Sanchez? I'm not a big Mark Sanchez fan but he's a goat based on what exactly? Can we maybe wait until the season starts and you can include him on your Fall goat list then?
US little league team? You're putting 12 year olds on a goat list but you're OK with drunk drivers?
Bobby Valentine? For what? Dealing with a bunch of self entitled brats? Why don't we pin the blame on the players this time and not the manager. The manager doesn't give up homeruns, strikeout, hit into double plays and play like complete crap. I actually feel bad for Valentine because he's had to deal with the A holes he's dealt with this season.
Nice attempt but my list has the true goats on it.

I personally like the overhaul the sox are doing. Beckett Gonzalez and Crawford were horrible in the clubhouse, and other than Gonzo none would perform on the field. Great move by Cherington to get rid of Beckett Gonzalez and Crawford.
And Valentine isn't the problem, it's the players who need to man up and fix things with themselves.

I would not put Armstrong on there, mainly because this doping thing has been going on for years. I can't call him a goat this summer because he is the one who just decided to give up the fight.

Which one of those four all-stars is currently an all-star? Getting rid of Crawford and Beckett's terrible contracts are a great move, and they had to move Adrian to get rid of them, but it isn't like Adrian was playing up to his abilities in Boston.
And you were joking when you wrote about Neil Armstrong as Lance's dad, right?

Definitely Bones Jones.
Claiming he's a role model and "would never do anything like drink and drive"...then gets busted for a DUI.
Says he "never turns down a fight" and would "destroy Sonnen in a hearbeat".
Then says he doesn't want to fight Machida because Machida doesn't bring in big gate or PPV dollars.
THEN he turns down a fight with Sonnen who DOES bring big PPV money.
Complete fool.

At first glance, the move seemed like an insane move for the sox.....but the more i think about it, the more i think it really was a great move for them.

Great move by the Sox, especially since the Dodgers take on pretty much all of the money owed to all players. They got somebody to take on two of their worst contracts in Beckett and Crawford. It was worth giving up Gonzo to get rid of them, and take on some prospects. Only way it could have been better for the Sox is if they could have somehow gotten LA to take Lackey too.

And AJ Allmendinger needs to be on the list. Finally gets a ride with a top team in Penske after spending most of his career with Petty and Red Bull Racing, and he then gets suspended indefinitely for testing positive for amphetamines. Nobody really knows what's on NASCAR's list of banned substances, but they have a very harsh punishment system for those who fail drug tests. Ask Shame Hmiel and Jeremy Mayfield. First offense is suspended indefinitely until the driver goes through rehab and all kinds of other bs.
