I say that the Colorodo rockies will win it all. they have won 21 of their last 22 games and with hitter like Matt Holiday and Todd helton in their line up they are unstopable.

Well first of all, the Indians haven't even made it to the World Series yet. Second of all, they have faced absolutely no pitching so far in the playoffs. The Phillies had one of the worst pitching staffs, Hamels aside, to ever make the playoffs. The Phillies had the 13th best ERA in the NL with a mark of 4.73. The Diamondbacks ranked 4th in ERA with a 4.13 mark. However, a starting rotation of Brandon Webb, Livan Hernandez, Doug Davis, Micah Owings, and Edgar Gonzalez doesn't exactly strike fear into your heart.

Totally different story with Cleveland. The Tribe has Sabathia and Carmona 1-2, while Byrd and Westbrook have filled in more than adequetely, not to mention that Rafael Perez and Rafael Betancourt have been lights out.

Momentum aside, I don't see the Rockies beating the Indians (if they were to beat the Red Sox) in the World Series.

well then i guess im hypothetically speaking that the indians will go... the phillies have an OK pitching staff.
the rockie will win it all they have broven worthy and they can beat either one of the two teams and thats all that matters

No, the Phillies pitching staff was not ok. The 13th highest ERA in the NL is not ok.

The Rockies haven't really proven themselves worthy. They've just gotten hot at the right time, winning 21 of 22, or something ridiculous like that. This 8-day layoff will hurt them. Sitting around and only practicing for eight days will take a toll on them mentally and physically, and it will basically kill their momentum.

Hence, the winner of the ALCS will have all the momentum coming into the World Series and beat the Rockies.

4 out of five teams have proven that they will win. for example the 95 braves won. 4-1 was the series.

Well the Indians are out. But the Rockies still won't win. The Red Sox come in with all the momentum to take on the Rockies. The Red Sox hitting exploded in Game 7 against Cleveland, and they will continue that hot streak into the World Series.

I don't get what the 1995 Braves have to do with this.

Sox in 5.
