More Americans like watchin Nascar than they does Soccer. Soccer, though not a bad sport, is considered boring by many Americans. Driving, on the other hand, is fun and millions and millions of Americans drive cars on a daily basis.
Soccer is also much easier. 5 year olds like Mad Mex kick balls across the field while they chase each other. To drive you have to be older and take more lessons.
NASCAR has more sponsors than MLS, is shown on Sports Center more, has higher attendance and is more popular on cereal boxes than Soccer. I'm not saying soccer isn't mainstream, but they no question about it, NASCAR is more popular and will remain that way for a while.

More Americans also like Fox News instead of real news, or ranch dressing over green goddess. They prefer Big Macs over vegetable medleys. They prefer a Michael Bay blow 'em up over a gem directed by Darren Aronofsky.
Point is, most Americans are fu**ing stupid. As s*it. They are lazy, hapless losers who reminisce about HS football until they are dead, drink excessively, and are fat.
What is NASCAR? Driving in a circle. That shart excites a typical American. They can shovel fried pickles and ranch dressing into their mouths and daydream about being able to do what these idiots do!
Soccer, on the other hand, is running. No way Joseph. Running sucks to most of 'Murica. That involves burning ranch calories, or putting on shoes. No rebel flag loving hillbilly wants any part of that. And Soccer is socialist. Everyone shares the ball? Please. None of this muslim Ubama BS in my sports world. I want 1 man, 1 car, 1 track, and the big one.
Soccer obviously is less popular, the numbers say so. But why, is the question? Back to you, Brick.
I'm Uppercut?

Ok, to be clear, I'm one of those wild and crazy guys that actually likes my country and my fellow Americans. You point out our faults as if we are the only ones with any. Great move, commie. Just because you think a gangbang between 5 Frenchmen is art doesn't make you more cultured.
What's the best way to determine which professional sport is more popular in America? NASCAR or Major League Soccer? How bouts we try a little revnue excercise. MLS "profits" through 2004 from the founding of the league in 1996 were NEGATIVE $350 million. Even today, only three of all MLS franchizes are profitable. Yes, soccer ball is so popular the league doesn't care about making money.
NASCAR averages around $3 billion a year. That's an MLS wet dream at best.
Seriously, though, who here remembers the first time they kicked a soccer ball? Who cares? Now who remembers getting a drivers license! Hells yea, son! Driving cars is awesome.
In high school, the hot chicks are always on the prowl for a dude packing the most heat under his hood. Much in the same way Uppercut is always looking for the guy with the greasiest biceps.

Okay, let's make some things clear. Insinuating I don't like my country and my fellow Americans is more offensive than anything in my satirical 1st "argument". Just because I have the ability to not sugarcoat my country into this fake world of perfection doesn't declare that I dislike it. I love my country but guess what? I don't love everyone in it.
That said, Aronofsky was born in Brooklyn, bro. Nothing french or gay about him. But you are more cultured than I, as you stated, so....
Back to the issue at hand. I am asking why is NASCAR more popular? And the point of my argument can be broken down.
1. We are a country without patience. Like, none. Everything is fast, from the food to the internet. Look at how we react to politics. If everything isn't fixed immediately, anarchy. People just don't have the patience for a skilled sport like soccer.
2. Inability to accept difference. Sadly, we are still filled with a lot of people that are afraid of difference. Homophobia, foreigners, etc. Soccer's main stars are not American. That connection is just not there with the masses.
Running out of room. Much more to come when you post your next arg in 38 hours.

This is satire? "Point is, most Americans are fu**ing stupid. As s*it. They are lazy, hapless losers who reminisce about HS football until they are dead, drink excessively, and are fat."
I never said Aronofsky wasn't born in America. Or that I was cultured. Your reading comprehension is I guess "American" by your own standards. What I was implying is that you enjoy watching gay French porn.
1) You claim Americans like things that are only "fast". Then how come they can sit through a 4 hour BORING baseball game but can't stomach 90 minutes of soccer? Soccer is the defintion of fast. The play is fast, the match is fast, and the clock never stops. Sorry, but I need to ask, have you ever watched a soccer game before? Boring maybe, but it is a fast boring.
2) Sorry, you are an idiot. America is probably the most open, accepting society in the world. It is a nation based on differences. Overall, we accept everyone, even tards like you. Go to England. Most racist society in Europe. China? If you're from a different province they look at you wrong. Africa? Wrong tribe and your dead. America? Oh, you're a one eyed, legless Pakastani, let's grab some Starbucks together.

I think this is a borderline undebatable point. NASCAR is a staple of the south much like fried food is. Soccer has no strong foothold anywhere in America.
