I'll go with not '4'!
Payton has not thrown for more than 3 TDs in a game this season. He has thrown 3 TDs twice in a game and one of those came against the 30th ranked defense of Oakland. He's averaging 2.2 TD passes a game (11 over 5 games). So 4 is a stretch but 3 seems very likely to me.
SD's D allows an average of 20.4 points a game. That is about 3 TDs a game. So 4 passing TDs seems unlikely given that Denver has 11 passing TDs and 4 running TDs. I think 3 passing and 1 running is likely even though SD's D is tough against the run this run.
SD's D is tied for 11th in yards given up per game. They give up 74 yards/game running and 260 yards/game passing. They've given up 2 running TDs and 11 passing so far this year. So their average is 2.2 TD passes/game. Three is likely but four seems like a stretch to me.
Payton is very consistant. He has passed for 2 or 3 TDs in all but one game so far this year. Making 2 or 3 TD passes for Payton against SD very likely but the chances of four TDs a stretch and unlikely.
In conclusion, I'm going with NOT '4'.

Peyton Manning lost to his rival last week. The Chargers are soft. They just did an article about Phillip Rivers this week in S.I., about his misfortunes while on the Chargers.
Norv Turner, give me a break. This guy shoulda been axed a long time ago. This is a DIVISIONAL game.. Peyton will be up for it. Peyton will have with Jammer, and Weddle n Co..

You knew who I was talking about as neither of your examples are throwing TD passes in the NFL today.
I fail to see what Phillip River's misfortunes have anything to do with how many TD passes Peyton will throw against SD tonite on MNF. How many he throws has everything to do with SD's defense, how close the score is and Peyton's arm. Peyton's arm still isn't at 100% of what it used to be by his own admission. Peyton has said that his arm strength is a work in-progress and isn't back to where it was before, yet. Given his own admission, throwing 4 TDs in a game may still just be beyond him right now.
The other option of 'Not 4' is more than 4. But given Peyton's own admission about his less then full arm strength that seems very very unlikely. Also since Peyton hasn't thrown more than 3 TD passes in a game so far this season a jump to 5 or more seem very unlikely to me as well.
Therefore it seems very highly likely to me that Peyton throws 2 or 3 TD passes against SD tonite on MNF!
