Best Division in Basketball

I will say the Northwest.

While not having a Superteam like the Lakers or Heat but top to bottom this Division also does not have an Orlando or a Pheonix, either.

OKC
Denver
Portland
Minny
Utah

Got a better division?


Atlantic..

(Celtics, Raptors, 76ers, Nets, Knicks

Believe it or not...

Celtics are still the power house while they have the new Big 4. Pierce, Rondo, Garnett, the "Jet". Gained young depth at Center, with Sullinger and Melo.

76er's have gained the services of the talented Nick Young, Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson. Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner, and Holiday, make this team a little scare.

The Nets, O, the Nets. Joe Johnson is coming to help Deron Williams. I've heard Deron might be banged up, so that might effect the season, but if Deron, at full health, this team could be a slight contender.

The Knicks have added Raymond Felton and Jason Kidd to the back court. Carmelo and Amare are do or die this year, no damn excuses.

Raptors, young team, they are def. the weak link here.

The west is the best, but the East, bout to be a BEAST.

Next, considering all you said about Toronto is "young team" Kinda hurts the case, don't it?

Let's look at the SW

OKC has 2 of the top 10 players in the NBA, and I like Lamb, he could be extraordinary, not to mention the pure size there.

How's Portland look so far this seaon?

Exactly. LaMarcus is going to be a STAR

Denver? Resigned Lawson, DG and a stunning amount of talent- and unlike Toronto. Established, playoff talent.

Minny? You got Rubio, and K-Love, two franchise centerpeices.

Finally Utah. Grantland Zach Lowe thinks they are an 8 or 9 seed, so could all 5 of these teams make the playoffs? (He only has Minny missing)
Plus Al is a STUD, with Paul Millsap and even Randy Foye

Heck Utah made the playoffs last year

Name me a single player on Toronto that starts for 20 teams, Heck would Amare anymore?

Raymond Felton is not a joke, NC! Not your all star caliber, but one you'd def. want on your team.

One star on the blazers?

Joe Johnson and deron Williams, arguably one of the best back courts in the game with an 18-8 guy, robin Lopez, and a swing man in Gerald Wallace.

NY solid bench, huge depth, jr smith, j Kidd, Rasheed Wallace even hit a trey 2nite.

Philly-went 7 games withboston last year, added only the 2nd best center in the league. Nick Young, most underrated player in the league.

Celtics, no reason to defend, self explanatory.

The Knicks beat the Lakers, but so did the Mavs- WITHOUT DIRK. Cleveland also started 1-0 as well, so I guess you got a Mavs/Cavs Finals?

Bynum is already hurt (as predicted by ME on www.7poundbag.com They also lost their leading scorer plus Iggy- explain to me how they win without anyone but Evan Turner who, if you didn't notice was NOT WORTHY OF AN EXTENTION


If you think the Blazers only have one star, you spent too much time watching the Celtics get blownout, tweeky.

The Nyets look good- but could they beat Portland, Denver or OKC in a seven game series? Could they even beat Utah?

I know they can't beat a 100%Minny team- and that's your THIRD BEST TEAM
